Hey guys! Sorry for such a long wait for an update! Thanks for being so patient!

I saw her. With someone else.
I didn't want it to be true, but it was.
That night was the worst night of my life.
I was waiting outside of the library one night. It was cold and rainy. The sky a gloomy gray. I was leaning against a wall as I waited for her to come out. My headphones were blocking out the noises around me. People didn't give me a second glance as they walked past with their unbrellas protecting them from the rain.
My hood was up and I must have looked like a ninja with how much black I was wearing.
She sauntered out of the library with him. Her smile never leaving her face. He smiled back at her as he talked about who knows what. She reached up and gave him a kiss right on the lips.
That... That bitch!
I didn't know what to feel exactly. I felt angry and sad and extremely jealous. I had to get out of there before I did something stupid.
One thing was for sure. We were no longer together.
I stalked off down the road, headed to no where in particular. As I was about to come to an intersection, I felt a buzz in my pocket. I got out my phone and saw that my mom had texted me.
'Where are you? It's almost 10pm.'
I told her I was on my way home. Once I get there I will most likely lock myself in my room and hope I will never have to come out.
And when I got home, that's exactly what I did. No one bugged me while I lied on my bed facing the wall. Feeling nothing but sadness overcome me.
There was a knock on my window and I turned to see Kiari standing there, her hair sticking to her face from the rain. She smiled sadly at me.
I went and opened the window to let her in. It took her a few moments to climb in and when she did, she fell on the ground. I laughed slightly at that.
I helped her up off the ground.
She stared at me intently.
"Hey," she said after a few moments.
I nodded. "Hey."
She gave me a hug then. I decided to hug back, something I don't usually do. I rested my head on her shoulder and closed my eyes. I didn't even tell her what happened and yet she somehow knew I was sad.
She pulled away and stared at my face. She reached up and wiped a tear away. I didn't even realize I was crying.
"Sorry," I said as I turned away from her and quickly wiped my face with my hoodie sleeve.
I sat on my bed once more, staring at the ground. I didn't want her to see me like this. No one should've seen me like this. She joined me on the bed.
"You wanna tell me what happened?" She asked quietly.
I sighed. I might as well tell her now.
"I saw Maddie with someone else," I stated flatly.
"I-I'm so sorry, Ian," she stuttered, clearly at loss for words. She leaned her head on my arm and we just sat there in silence. The air was thick with emotions. I heard a strange noise coming from Kiari as she buried her face in my sleeve.
Was she crying? Why was she crying?
"Hey, are you okay?" I asked. She shook her head and pulled away from my sleeve, revealing the tears streaming down her face.
