Thirty-eight

After their bath, the couple went into their room, Harper threw on one of Glenn's shirt, and some underwear, while Glenn just out on a pair of boxers.

Harper layed down, and Glenn layed behind her, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him.

"I can't wait to meet our baby." Gkenn whispered, Harper smiled and looked back at him.

"Me either." Harper whispered, Glenn grinned and got on his knees, he put his hands on her stomach, and kissed it.

"I love you little one." Glenn whispered, Harper smiled and ran her fingers through his hair.

"This town is good for us." Harper whispered, Glenn nodded in agreement.

"It is, it will also be good for the baby." Glenn said, Harper smiled, and helped Glenn stand up.

"Come on, you have to go on a run with Aiden." Harper said, Glenn nodded, and grabbed his gun and knife, they walked out of their house together.

Tara, Noah, Aiden and Nick were waiting for Glenn, they weren't actually doing a run, just a test run.

"I love you." Glenn said, he kissed Harper, than walked over to the group.

Harper walked back to the house, Maggie was playing with Alexis, Carl and Judith were also playing, and Rick and Michonne were no where to be found, along with Daryl and Carol.

Harper sighed and sat on the couch, she grabbed one of the books, and started to read.

Almost a hour went by, Harper was getting bored, Carl, Maggie and Judith left, leaving Harper and Alexis alone.

Harper stood up, and picked up her child, she put her in the stroller, than walked out of the house, almost immediately she heard yelling.

Spotting Carol, she ran towards her, and asked her to watch the baby, the yelling was more clear now, and she could tell it was Glenn.

Running to the gate, Harper watched as Aiden tried to swing on Glenn, but he ducked, than punched Aiden right in the face, causing him to fall on his ass.

"Glenn! Knock it off!" Harper yelled, she cane to a stop, and stood infront of her husband.

"Yeah, listen to you're wife, before I beat the shit out of you." Aiden snapped, Harper turned her head, and glared at him.

"Last time I checked, he just knocked you on you're ass." Harper said, she grabbed Glenn's hand, and watched as Deanna talked to her son.

Than Deanna offered Rick and Michonne a job to be some type of police for Alexandria, they of course accepted it.

"Come on." Harper snapped, Glenn followed behind her silently, Harper walked up tye stairs of Carol's house, and thanked her before grabbed Alexis and walking back home.

"Baby, come on." Glenn said, he closed the door behind them, and watched as Harper took Lex out of her stroller, and set her on the ground.

"What if you just got us all kicked out, huh?" Harper asked, she walked into the kitchen and washed her hands.

"I didn't! Deanna thanked me." Glenn said, he sat down and watched as his wife worked around the kitchen.

"You don't think before you act anymore Glenn! You could've gotten us kicked out! What about our kids?" Harper yelled, Glenn sighed and put his head in his hands.

"Nothing would've happened, can you stop worrying!" Glenn asked, Harper shook her head, and moved the knife quickly, cutting the tomatoes.

"No, I can't calm down. My husband's a idiot, and doesn't think before he acts!" Harper yelled, the tomatoes slipped, and she accidentally cut her finger. "Fuck!" She yelled, she dropped the knife, and grabbed paper towels, holding it onto her finger.

"Baby, you're so pissed right now, you can't even cut a tomato." Glenn said, he pulled the paper towel away, and saw that she cut off the tip of her finger.

"Yeah? Well next time it won't be my finger, it'll be you're dick." Harper snapped, she let put a sharp hiss when Glenn brought a cold rag to her finger. "Fucking hell." She whispered, her eyes filled with tears and she stared at Glenn.

"Don't cry." Glenn whispered, he held the rag on her finger, and cupped her face with his other hand.

"I'll be more careful, I'll think before I do anything, I promise." He whispered, Harper nodded, and Glenn wiped away the tears that fallen. "Now let's go have Rosita clean this up, you literally cut off some of the nail too, it's like the whole top of you're finger is gone." Glenn said, he threw away the bloody tomatoes, she grabbed her hand, they walked to the front door, and Glenn picked up Lex.

"I'm sorry for yelling." Harper whispered, Glenn shook his head with a small smile.

"Don't be, you were scared, I understand." Glenn whispered, they walked down the block, to the hospital wing.

Rosita smiled at them, than saw the blood all over Harper's clothes. "What'd you do?!" Rosita asked, running over to them Harper sighed.

"I cut the tip of my finger off. Practically the whole top." Harper said, Rosita hissed and stared at her with wide eyes.

"Luckily it wasn't you're dick." Rosita said to Glenn, who looked away with a pained out look of his face. "Follow me, Glenn wait here." Rosita said, Glenn nodded and set the baby down, he sat down on the ground, and started to play with his daughter.

After Rosita was done patching Harper up, she gave her some prenatal vitamins for the baby, and a full check-up, before letting her leave.

She even checked the baby's heart beat, which sounded good, Harper grinned and walked out, Glenn was slumped against the wall, with Lex asleep in his lap.

"My love, come on." Harper whispered, Glenn wole up, and smiled at her. "I was gone for thirty mins." She chuckled, Glenn shrugged and slowly stood up with Lex.

"Let's go home. I'm exhausted." Glenn muttered, Harper chuckled and they started to make their way home. "I love you Harper, so much." Glenn whispered, kissing the side of his wife's head.

"I love you too Glenn, so much." Harper said, she rested her hands on her stomach, and looked at Glenn, they both had the biggest smiles on their faces ever.
