"So, Aaron finally got himself a girl huh?"
"Shut up Andre. It's just a date meaning that nothing is official yet.. right Aaron?"
"Yes, also I would like it if you guys didn't say anything to Winter about it just yet."
"Ok, a word won't be said to Winter about anything." I heard Andre and Christina say in unison as I walked up to the group.
"So, we keep secrets from each other now?" I said as I made myself known. All three of them turned to look at me as they quickly tried to come up with an excuse.
"What, no! We aren't keeping secrets persay, just trying to plan something that is a surprise for you." Andre said which caused Aaron and Chistina to give him a glare. I mean you aren't supposed to tell someone that you are planning a surprise for them but I mean he had to save their tails in some kind of way. I just shook my head as I took a seat in the empty seat beside Christina.
"Anyways, where in the world have you been these past few days?" Christina asked me as she tried to change the subject.
"Oh, uh with Derrick. Why?"
"Wait wait wait, you were with Derrick for the past week? I thought you already finished the bet."
"I did finish the bet Andre, that's why you and Christina paid me and Aaron."
"Then was it because you still tutor him?" Christina asked as she tried to figure it out as well.
"Yes and no."
"What do you mean yes and no?" Aaron looked at me with a raised eyebrow while the other two looked at me confused.
"Me and him decided to try dating for real."
"Oh okay!" Andre and Christina said in unison but Aaron got this slightly hurt look in his face that he was trying to hide.
We talked for a little bit longer about some random things before we went separate ways. I walked over to the girls locker room so that I could start getting dressed for dance. As I was on my way to the locker room I passed an abandoned classroom and just as I passed the door I was slightly pulled in.
I turned around fast as lightning ready to fight someone. However, I was able to calm myself once I saw who it was that pulled me into the room.
"Hey Babygirl." Derrick said as he wrapped his arms around my waist as he pulled me closer to him.
I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his neck and replied, "Hi luv. You know you shouldn't scare me like that."
"Yeah, I know and I'm sorry about that. I just wanted a minute with you to myself."
"That must mean that you are on your free period."
"Yes it does. Now quit talking and come here."
With that I was pulled closer to him even though there already wasn't any space between us. He leaned down slightly as he kissed me. Derrick nipped my lower lip asking for entrance which I gladly accepted while smiling into the kiss. Yes I did just say I smiled into the kiss and it wasn't a fake one this time. Ever since me and Derrick made it official between us we spent the week out of school just spending time together.
That's actually why Christina asked where it was that I've been these past few days. I kind of only stayed in touch with Nick, Raven, and Jason, everyone else was muted so yeah.
After a few minutes I pulled away from the kiss with my eyes still closed as I smiled and slowly opened them.
"So tell me, is dating me for real as bad as you thought it was gonna be?"
