Destiny....
..... "Momma daddy said why you taking so long to come out?" I said walking into my moms room. When I made eye contact to what she was looking at I couldn't believe it. "Von? Wait aren't you dead?" Is all that came out my mouth. My mom was still frozen. I have to be dreaming ain't no way it's him, my father is dead. "I can explain" he said to us. "GET OUT!!" Is all my mom said. My dad (Kentrell) came running in with draco right behind him. "What's goin on? Wtf Von?" He said confused. "What's going on here?" Draco said as he looked over at me. I shrugged my shoulders and started to cry. He ran over to hug me while my dad was talking to Von. Ain't no way this is all real. I saw his funeral pictures my mom told me all about what happened. How can he be here? "Aye sis it's Ight. We will find out what's going on you just gotta be strong ma." Draco said while hugging me. "How could he be here I don't understand.!? He's dead! He has been. For 18 years!" I said. "Ion know sis but come on. Let's go talk to em and find out." Draco said giving me his hand. I got his hand and we walked to the other room where they were talking in. Once I entered it got silent. All I heard was my mom light cries as she comes up to hug me. I looked around the room and make eye contact with him again. "Hey destiny, It's nice to finally meet you." He said with a small smile on his face. I didn't respond I just staged silent waiting for him to explain. "Just know what I did was to protect both of you. I couldn't lose y'all. The reason I left was because there was this person named Nicole who didn't like your momma and she wanted to make Asias life a living hell. She wanted your mom to suffer how she did. She found out so much shit about me and your mom, information that nobody but I knew. I've done some fucked up shit In my life and she knew everything. She blacked mailed me and used it all against me. She knew who my opps where and she knew my weak spot which is you. She said no harm will be done to nun of y'all if I left. To fake my own death and have your mom suffer. She knew the amount of love your mom bad towards me and used it to her advantage. I left to save you both especially you destiny. If any harm was done to you I wouldn't forgive myself. Seeing you grow up from the sidelines was definitely hard. There was many times I wanted to go up to you and hug you but I couldn't. I just want to be a good father for you know. I've been wanting to show myself to you for 6 years now ever since nicole passed away I hope one day you can forgive me for doing this." He said with tears falling down his face. My dad kept cleaning the tears that where falling from mine and my mom was still quiet. I tried to process it all in my head and I couldn't none of this made any sense. The little girl in me wanted to run up and hug him, but the other half of me hates him. " 6 years? Six fucking years and now you want to show up! Now you want to be my dad. Sorry but that's not how this works. I cried for you every night for the past 18 years of my life. Looking at baby pictures wishing I got to have more memories with you. When all this time you've been in the shadows. I have a dad. He cared, provided, and loved me when you didn't. He took care of my mother when you left. He did everything you were suppose to do. So no you can't be a father because I already have one and his name is Kentrell Gaulden. And forgiveness is way to far from here." I got up and left the room. If he thinks he can come into my life now and think I'm going to act like nothing he's got another thing coming......
