Chapter 19: The Invasion Of Konoha

Dom moved through the crowds of sleeping people while trying to avoid the fighting as much as possible except if he could surprise attack someone and then knock them out. After going across half of the spectators stands he reached his target and placed a hand on what was left of Lee's green spandex as he made to release the genjutsu cast on him.

Doing a small spasm with his body, Lee shot to his feet and looked confused around until he saw the seriousness in Dom's face and then began noticing the sound of metal clashing followed by pained screams. Now even more confused he looked to Dom for answers as said boy helped him to his feet so he could snap back to reality completely.

Dom gave him a quick rundown of the situation at hand which left Lee speechless with how unyouthful it was, both of them immediately took off and knocked a few unaware enemies out on the way. Landing on the walls gave them a clear viewpoint over the entire village as they began scouting for friendly chakra signatures around them, Dom could feel the large chakra signature getting closer now with over 500 smaller ones meaning an army was approaching the village now as well. Both of them jumped down into the street and immediately blitzed as fast as they could, meanwhile Dom removed the bandages around his arms which were made with tougher and weighted fabric which was now sealed away. Next was the metal weight belt wrapped around his waist as well as the weightings underneath his pants strapped around his calves just like Lee's. Said bowl cut also began removing his extra weights and handed them to Dom who in turn sealed them away in another storage seal now meant for Lee's stuff. Now that both of them were completely free from extra weight pulling them down, they sped up rapidly and vanished from sight, the two of them were going at high johnin speed at the moment as they dashed around all of the corners they could find and knocked as many enemies out as possible. Eventually they found Iruka and some other teachers guiding Konohamaru's and some other classes toward the monument, in front of them were a battalion made up of 10 enemy ninja who seemed to have taken down one teacher and were about to do the same to another one.

Moving in perfect sync they both rushed the enemies and double punched two of them at the same time which sent them flying into a nearby building and had at least cracked a few ribs. The enemy ninja turned around to intercept the new ninja but found that it was a dumb idea as the instructors took the opportunity to cut down another three. The kids were clearly frightened as they jumbled together with Konohamaru and Hanabi Hyuga forming the frontal defense for them as two enemy ninja came for them while their sensei's were distracted. Iruka turned and roared their names knowing full well that he would never catch up in time and could do nothing but look on as two of his students were about to be killed. That was however not mean to be as two blur's blitzed past him and connected punches with the enemy's back which blew them up into a building across the street. Konohamaru looked up to see Dom's calming and comforting eyes looking down on him and rushed into his arms while shaking in fear of his life.

(Konohamaru) "B... Big bro Dom, what is happening!?"

(Dom) "Take it easy Konohamaru, relax for now, everything is going to be alright when we're done with this. You were brave enough to put yourself in the way of the enemy in order to save your comrades, that takes guts and determination which is the core part of what a chunin needs. So, in a sense you're already as much of a chunin as many of your seniors."

This seemed to make Konohamaru smile a little again which gave Dom time to notice that Hanabi Hyuga was also shaken up a little, he reached out his hand and allowed her to take it before being embarrassed in a warm and comforting hug. Watching the kids being scared like this made both Dom and Lee have a similar thought run through their mind, "Unforgivable..."

Dom stood up while still keeping a hand on both of the kids shoulders before pulling them away and placing them in a cross sign in front of his chest. The present chunin could only gasp at the dozens of shadow clones appearing around them before Dom gave the order for all of them to find civilians and escort them to the safe houses while killing any enemy that they encountered while on the job. Next he drew blood from his thumb and made hand seals before summoning Ragnar to the field, the order was instant as he made another two clones to go with Iruka and the other teachers and kids to the safehouses along with Ragnar leading the way for safety sake. After this Dom and Lee turned on their heels and dashed off once again to find either enemies to kill or civilians to evacuate...
