Lin was sleeping peacefully on Air Temple Island. Usually she wouldn't be sleeping here but after the whole Kuvira incident, her flat was destroyed. Asami's mansion was still intact and Lin was offered a place to stay but she politely declined. Even if the air head was an idiot, Lin felt more comfortable on the Island. She basically grew up there.

Bumi and Kya had taken a quick trip to SWT to retrieve Katara. She was getting older by the day and who knows how long she would be alive. She agreed to stay with Tenzin, Kya, and Bumi on the Island. To her, it felt good to be back. She had lived there for years and raised her kids there.

It was about midnight when Katara, Bumi, and Kya returned to Republic City. Katara being there was supposed to be a surprise as she wasn't supposed to arrive until next week. Bumi helped her to her room and put all her bags down gently with the help of air bending. Finally it was time for sleep.

Bumi made his way back to his room when he passed by Lin's room. Suddenly a very dangerous idea popped into his head and he checked to make sure she was asleep. Lin was curled under the blankets, her hair down from its usual style. Small snores escaped her mouth and he slid onto her bed.

She felt the movement and started to wake up. Soon her eyes opened and she saw Bumi laying on his side, smiling widely. She let out a terrified high pitch scream and kicked him across the room. Soon the sound of hurried footsteps could be heard and the door to Lin's bedroom opened.

Tenzin saw Lin standing next to her bed, out of breath while Bumi struggled to get up. "Spirits what happened here?!"

"Ask him!" She screeched. Finally, Bumi gained some strength and got off the floor. He smiled innocently while Lin glared.
