/3rd person POV/

Karl was a small Baker in the town of one life, he lived by himself. But
He didn't mind! Not at all, he prefers company but being alone,he was able to get stuff done.

One day while he was On his way to the market to get more ingredients, he saw a crowd. Usually he'd ignore crowd's, but he felt the need to see what everyone was doing.

Holding his basket he walked into the crowd, slowly getting to the front.he stopped to listen. "The king is looking for a new assistant! If you're interested please head to the castle whenever! The king will be taking anyone!" A knight yelled into the crowd holding a paper with the Kingdom's symbol engraved onto it.

Karl stood there, shocked that the king would look for an assistant in town, instead of asking for one from the academy.

His eyes slightly glimpsed with excitement and joy at the thought of serving the king and his son's. That glimpse was quickly shattered when he realized he would be against the whole town if he wanted a chance.

"Awh man" he sighed, walking out of the crowd, heading back to the bakery.

/Time skip to when he got excepted and all/

Karl looked around the kingdom walls as he was escorted to the Kings quarter's. He was assigned the Kings assistant for his ability to get things done quickly. Due to him being alone most of the time.

After he picked up the paperwork he was assigned to go through, he walked to the garden behind the castle,he walked down the path to a patch of white roses, he sat on the bench in the flowers and studied the paperwork,humming to himself has he drowned out the rest of the world.

/Wilbur's POV/

"What?!?"I yelled, clearly mad. I was annoyed by my father's actions of thinking a person from the town could be smart enough to work for royalty. Let alone be assistant of the king! "Wil, I made my decision, besides never judge people for where they came from! I thought I taught you better than that.." He scowled at me, obviously annoyed with me.
I watched as he signaled his servants to escort me out of the room.
"pathetic.." I hissed, turning towards the door and slamming it shut behind me, not giving his servants a second to react.

I walked the long hallways and entrances scowling my father's decision. i groaned as the thought of other kingdoms finding out about my father's actions would obviously give our reputation a turn.

"Ugh! What was that old man thinking!" I held my hands in a tight fist, thinking about the new 'assistant', how ugly he probably looked and how dumb he could be. I might aswell go and give him a piece of my mind.

As I walked to the library, I asked the servants working if they have seen anyone new go somewhere. They haven't.i sighed and continued to search the castle.
I had gotten to the 2 floor when I heard people talking, I hid behind a pillar in the hall and listened to them talk.

"The new guys a baker I heard"

"Yea! A cute one aswell! He's got beautiful eyes, there a milky grey color!"
