The height difference sucks! (tendou x reader)

-Chapter 4-

The same annoying sound of your alarm woke you up however this time you were excited to wake up. You get to meet your teammates today. You did your normal routine and headed to school. As soon as you got there you went to check the roster that was posted outside the gym.

Girls volleyball roster:

You got excited seeing some familiar names up there. Another girl came over and was looking at it.

"What's your name?" She asked

"L/n Y/n, you?" You asked

"Sano Eri," she said smiling.

She was about 5'4, had short black hair, dark brown eyes, and some beauty marks on her face.

"What position do you play?" Asked Sano

"Libero, what about you?" You replied

"I'm a setter," she said proudly.

The two of you hit it off well and walked to class together. You found out she's a second year but you didn't mind. You dropped her off at her classroom being the good upperclassman you are and started walking towards yours. You were zoned out thinking about what to eat when you get home and got very startled when tendou wrapped his arm around your shoulders.

"I've been calling your name for like the past minute," he said with a frown.

"Oh dang, that's my bad, sorry tendou," you said giving him a half smile.

"I told you to call me Satori," he deadpanned looking down at you.

You gave him an awkward smile and said you're sorry. He smirked and continued walking with you to class.

The two of you walked into the classroom like any other day, you went to sit next to Ami and satori sat at his normal seat. Ami looked at you with wide eyes.

"Everything okay?" You asked her.

"Are you and Tendou dating?" She questioned.

You looked at her confused for a moment the remembered he had his arm around you. You started rubbing the back of your neck and looking around focusing on anything but her eyes obviously embarrassed about the situation. Ami grabbed your shoulders directing your attention to her. She stared deep into your soul with her pale blue eyes. (You know how it is). You couldn't help but shiver at her intense gaze.

"Well?" she stated more impatiently.

"No we aren't. But he did ask me out-" you barely got to finished before she blurted "WHAT? WHEN? Hes kinda scary but also a little cute. He seems sorta mean but could be a sweetheart..." she trailed off mumbling to herself.

You couldn't help but laugh at your friend. Her conflicting enthusiasm about the whole situation was amusing. For the rest of the day she was bugging you about the date. She didn't believe that you had no clue where and what was happening. She eventually started begging you to help prepare for it. You agreed to a small shopping spree after school and to call her to help get ready for it.

You and Ami were waiting at the bus stop to go to the mall. Once it finally arrived the two of you boarded and started talking about what to buy.
