Introduction & Author Notes

In the late 2100's, the world fell into disarray. Global warming, having had its way with the planet, the little that was left resulted in angry people and ruthless behavior in order to survive. Europe ceased to exist as we know it, and the little island of Great Britain could only offer so much to those who survived and inhabited it. But people, as they always have, managed to get through and find a new way of life. But people are fickle and have short memories; peace, as always, was short-lived.

No longer ruled under the monarchy, England had to find a new system to keep everyone safe from the dangerous remnants left behind by the wars and environmental breakdown.

But not everyone liked the way things were getting done... so in walked in the "Lawless." In 2244 Nathan Styles and his closest friends established their own group and together took over parts of London deemed "too dangerous" to continue to occupy. Through their own hard work and resistance, the boys managed to grow their group into a large gang and established their part of the city as the "Land of the Lawless." 69 years later the gang has become one of the most fearsome in all of England, and while the rest of the city of London has resumed as close to as normal life as possible, the threat of danger looms enough that no one dares go out after dark. 

Now it's 2313. Nathan's son, Jacob, has been ruling Lawless for about 30 years himself but has recently fallen ill. Now it is time for Jacob to make sure his heir, Harry, is ready to take over for him at the young age of 27. But when Harry's dreams clash with that of the gang, what will happen to the delicate balance keeping the rest of London relatively safe; and when he meets someone he never saw coming, how far will he be willing to go to stand up for what he believes in?

Timeline:

Current Day/2313: Harry (27) set to take over Lawless.

2311: Charlotte's father goes missing. 

2310: Jacob Styles falls ill and begins to slowly deteriorate - remains in charge of Lawless.

2304: Abigail Reign born, Charlotte's mother died during birth.

2302: Nathan Styles dies during response attack to avenge Genevieve's murder at 89 years old.

2295: Genevieve killed in attack on Lawless from the Government; Harry (9 years old).

2289: Charlotte Reign born.

2287: Eric Reign born.

2286: Jacob Styles (38) takes over Lawless with his newborn son Harry and wife, Genevieve.

2248: Jacob Styles born.

2244: Nathan (30) establishes Lawless with his friends.

2214: Nathan Styles born.

2210: World finds peace, England works to re-establish normalcy and new government.

2189: Global Warming overwhelms the planet and countries fall into disarray.
