He lifts up a bag that has blood leaking from the bottom
Y/n use some water to clean the blood off his blade
Ah I love the smell of blood in the morning! We should send the body to Gaara! We only need the head as confirmation!
As much as I like the fact you see Gaara as a close friend, I truly wish it wasn't by sending headless bodies to him...
He writes a nice letter checking on him each time...
Is it even legible? Surely it's covered in blood?
Y/n ignores the two arguing in his head as he takes out a calendar...
His eyes widen slightly
Y/n:Naruto is supposed to be here today...
If we hurry back we might actually make it in time to see him arrive...
Y/n puts his sword on his back and puts his hands together
He slowly turns into mist as the wind carries him back towards the village
Elsewhere
Naruto and Jiraiya both walk into the village and look around a bit
Naruto:You think y/n has been up to anything interesting?
Jiraiya:How could he not be? He's probably been training like you...
Naruto:Well I have too so he'll see how strong I truly am!
Jiraiya:Come on, we should head to the Hokage's office,Tsunade probably wants to see you...
Naruto:What about y/n? We aren't gonna wait for him...?
Jiraiya:If he was gonna be here he would already...
They feel a strong breeze...
Naruto:Grandma Tsunade has probably been making y/n do a ton of stuff...
Jiraiya:He was assigned to your team for a bit but after you and Sasuke left, y/n was probably utilized elsewhere...he may not have liked it but it beats sitting doing nothing...
The both of them start to head to the Hokage's office quickly
Y/n is on the other side of the village just arriving
Y/n:I can detect his presence...it's familiar but different at the same time...
We should return to Tsunade...looks like they are already heading that way...
