3rd POV

It was a normal day for a girl named, Melody Becker. She was an average girl. She had light blonde hair that went down to her waist, light blue eyes that looked like they sparkled, and a few freckles here and there. She was nice, smart, and pretty. Everyone thought she was the "perfect girl", but she wasn't. She had a big secret. She had voices in her head that told her to do bad things. Like murder. She would never listen to them and just ignore them, except at night. Everytime she would try to fall asleep the voices would start talking again and she listened to them until she eventually fell asleep.

One day she woke up at the normal time like she did everyday. 6:00 AM. She got up and tiredly walked to the bathroom to take a shower. After she took a quick shower, she walked to her room and got dressed. She wore a black long sleeve shirt, black leggings, and black converses. She walked downstairs as her mom walked out the door for work. Her younger sister, Sam was eating cereal.

"Whatcha eating?" Melody asked as she sat down next to her sister.

"Cereal, obviously. I thought you were smart enough to know that." Sam snapped back. Melody rolled her eyes.

"I meant what kind of cereal, you idiot." Melody replied. Sam looked at her older sister.

"I'm smarter than you." Sam said.

"Are not!" Melody said as she got mad.

" If you say so." Sam said as she stood up and walked out the door to school. Melody made her favorite breakfast. Waffles. She made her waffles and turned on the T.V. and it was on a new channel.

"Breaking news, a murderer has been lose in the areas listed." The news reporter said as the listed popped up and her city was on the list. "Yesterday night the murderer killed Mr. and Mrs. Walsh." Melody's eyes widened at the names. It was her neighbors.
