Chapter One Part 1

Aziz Avin Zarin

The sun was rising over the horizon slowly, but you couldn't tell wether it was setting or rising. I was on my way to the bus stop that I've never been to in my life. This town is very small and quiet that I know of. I've only been here for a couple weeks,I moved from New York to here,Atlanta, Georgia. I was born in Israel but I only stayed there till I was five and moved with my cousin Arasteh (Arasteh means Adorned or Adorn). My parents thought it was best for me because they own a corporation and at first things where running smoothly and then bezoar things started to happen. I've lived with my cousin for about 11 years now. Arasteh is like a mother to me,she basically raised me and taught me every thing from school to living life. I would go and see my parents every once and a while but I haven't seen them in two years. The crazy thing is they never got to see me grown up or actually be parents to me. Now I live here in Atlanta,Georgia with my cousin. She moved down here to start her own fashion company called Today's Fashionistas. The company is doing good so far I help her with designs and sketches.

I was almost at the bus stop, I could see about 9 people waiting for the bus. The bus had pulled up and they started to pile on the bus. The bus door started to close slowly, I jogged to the bus as it was pulling off. The bus diver stopped and opened the door. " Be on time next time if not I ain't stopping " I shook my head agreeing. Wow people are already giving second thoughts. I took a deep breath as so many thoughts ran though my head. My thoughts where interrupted by the loud bus driver telling me to hurry up. I slowly walked on the bus my heart was racing, that's all I could hear was my heart beating. I made it to the top of the bus, and all eyes where on me like they've never seen a normal teenage girl before. Was it my outfit because I thought I looked perfectly fine.(http://www.polyvore.com/aziz_avin_zarin/set?id=70272872) Was it too much or not enough, whisper's filled the air. I slowly walked down the narrow aisle but mostly all the seats where full.

I was almost towards the back when I found a vacant seat. I sat my book bag down first then I sat down as well. The whispering stopped and everyone started talking about what they where talking about before. I still felt a weird vibe from everyone like why is she here type of vibe. I pulled out my journal and pen and started to write.

September 8th, 2012

Dear Journal,

My first day of 10th grade isn't how I wanted it to start off. First I had to walk to the bust sop by myself. Second I almost missed the bus which ticked of the bus driver, I don't think she likes me now. Third these kids are giving me a really bad vibe already like I committed a crime or something. I hope the school is not like this bus but I highly doubt that. I just want this day to end ALREADY!!! But the crazy thing is that it didn't even start.

I closed my journal and just stared out the window for the time being. The bus made a hard stop, we must be a the school but no we where at another stop. There was only 5 people in-counting and of course they where boys. They came onto the bus loud and ignorant I swear I really hope this school isn't trouble. I just turned my head back out the window and stared at the rising sun and ongoing of the cars. I felt a slight tap on my shoulder I turned around to see a boy about my age. He was the perfect detention of perfection, light, smooth skin. Curly hair an-. " Um is this seat taken cause you know I could si- " I interrupted him " No no it's fine you can sit here " He said kinda shy and so did I. The rest of the of the bus drive was kinda quiet but I caught him looking at me a couple of times. The bus stopped everyone stood up filling the aisle, the boy next to me stood up and signaled me to go first. " No it's okay you can go " I said " You sure? " he asked I nodded and he filled the blank area.

I walked behind him being the last one off the bus. I looked at my new high school, it doesn't look that bad but you can't judge a book by its cover!
