Adventure (Jake Sully × Reader)

𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 8: 𝙸𝚔𝚘𝚛𝚊𝚗

Eva's POV:
We all walk up the ledge of a floating mountain. "Easy girl." I say as a rock falls beside me on the ledge. Jake look worried sick behind me.
"You okay Jake?" I say as we made our stop and jumping down from the 'horses' "I'm fine." Jake looked down at the ledge he moved twords me once more. We both look up to see a large looking staircase almost of Mountains.
We all managed to climb up safely. "Now what?" Jake looks around. Tsu'tey in front of us calls a command. "Jump." I look at him but he does not meet eyes with me, he still keeps studying Tsu'tey. I then jump to the vine,
my grip was strong and steady. I climbed up with no problem. He went after me.

Us 4 make our way to another floating mountain. We reach our destination and it is stunning! There were banshee's flying around, I was in awe. Jake laughed in amusement. "Well we did not die." I say to Jake. He nudges me playfully and lightly in response.

We backed up making room for Ney'tiri to land with her banshee. Tsu'tey comes
Twords me, a smirk on his face "Lets save best for last. No?" Tsu'teys powerful eyes dig into me.
"Your choice."
"I want to see you, go."
I nod in agreement. He holds my bow and Ney'tiri leads the way to the Ikoran's. I follow. "How will I know if it chooses me?" I ask Ney'tiri. "It will try to kill you." She replied more quietly. "Outstanding." I sarcasticly say.

Jake's POV:
I watch Eva Go up to one. most of them disappear or fly away, a pearl white scaly banshee finaly stood up to her. She hissed at it "Come on! Show me what you've got!" Eva growled.
The Ikoran finally charged at her she used its neck and swung onto the back of it. She attempted to hold on and tried to get ahold but her grip was weak.
She fell to the ground, Making a loud thump. "I'm fine! I-I got this." Tsu'tey watched with no emotion. I wanted to help her She stumbled up from spot with a bit of a wobble. The Ikoran hissed at her. She jumped onto its muzzle with a mighty roar to prevent it from snapping at her. It struggled. She connected shahalu, slowly but steady she got up from its large muzzle with a relaxed sigh. "First flight seal the bond, think fly Eva."
"Fly?" She mumbled, she went down crashing into a rock. "Godamnit!" Eva cursed as she tried to keep control.  As she was heading for water she finally had an thought. "Staight!!" She yelped a few moments after she successfully flew.

It was now my turn. I hand Tsu'tey my bow and go out with a rope. I approached each one slowly but all of them backed off. I grunted as I hopped down from a rock. 𝑌𝑜𝑢. I thought to myself. It turns around to roar at me. I flinch a bit from its breath. I hiss back at it.

"Lets dance." I say as I start swinging the rope around in a circle. "That Moron is going to die!" Tsu'tey exclaims.

As it try to bite I wrap the rope around
It's muzzle. I pull up and get on its back. I was hanging on for dear life, it trys to fly but I prevent it from seeing. I try holding it together while hanging on. It started to burn. "Make the bond!" Ney'tiri calls. I try connecting shahalu but It bounces its head off mine.

I nearly get thrown off a cliff but that won't stop me. I hustle back onto the flinging Ikoran it tussle's and fights me. It turns to its side. I'm able to wrap my legs around it and connect I make a powerful yell as I'm doing it.

Our pupils dilate. "Stop!"

As it begins to slowly relax I slowly go off of it "Yeah, that's it. your mine. huh?" I unwrap it from the rope. It then relaxes under my knees.
"First flight seal the bond you cannot wait." Ney'tiri says. "Think. 'Fly!'"
"Fly!?"My Ikoran starts wobbling in the air, it slowly goes down to hit the rocks like Eva's did. "God damn!" I yelled in terror as we fell. "Oh shut up and fly straight!" I then say. It does exact.
"Thats it. Bank left!" I say more commands. Eva then levels down to me.
"Nice job. I watched from above pretty impressive." Eva looked over to me with a warm smile.
