Jemima wandered through the calming Australian bush, brushing her hand on rough trees that filled the land, and giggling at curious black cockatoos. Golden rays of sunlight melted between leaves hanging from tall, ancient trees, as wallabies darted from out from behind some blood red bottle brush and raced each other to a crystal clear stream. Jemima jumped on a small path of rocks that sat on top of the stream and easily made her way across. She was proud she avoided getting wet, but couldnt resist the temptation of stepping into the refreshing liquid. The girl gracefully released her hair from her hair bands grasp, and put the band around her wrist. Her thick, brown, curly hair hung down and relaxed on her shoulders, as she removed her shoes, held up her shorts, and stepped into the freshwater.
Jemima let out a calming sigh as she sat on a dry rock that poked out of the stream, and stayed there in silence, listening to the beautiful sounds of nature, and the fresh flowing water just beneath her bare feet. Jemima felt a small droplet fall on to her nose and slide down her tanned skin, then it dropped off and melted away in to her palm. She closed her eyes and looked up to the gray sky, smiling brightly and showing her white teeth, as droplets fell from the clouds all around her. The rain soaked her from head to toe, and it became stronger as it flew down. Jemima took cover underneath a small tree and relaxed quietly. Then she got out her large umbrella and it covered her shivering body, as she headed home.
