Katnip (Karkat x Nepeta)

Chapter 3: "man up" time

Your name is Karkat, and you are walking to school giving yourself the shitiest pep-talk you've ever heard. You constantly try to compliment yourself but constantly yell at your self for stretching the truth.

The worst part is that you were doing it all out loud so as you walk people would stand there looking at you like you are some crazy person that yells at yourself.

You finally arrive at school, once you see Nepeta you begin to sweat a little and slowly walk up to an angle where she can see you. Kanaya first notices you and raises her eyebrows while signaling to Nepeta. You look back to her see her eyes widen "KARKITTY!" You blush a little as she runs over to hug you.

You actually are fine with it so you hug back. You can't find the courage to ask her, you slap yourself and yell at yourself in your head. You feel your process is a little harsh but its clearly the only way.

All those romantic movies aren't going in effect right now. It was clearly easier said than done.

(Nepeta's POV)
You are kinda confused, you see kakitty a few feet away from you looking don't and whispering loudly while slapping himself. You are easily confused now that you think about it.

You walk up too him "karkitty why are you slapping yourself?" He jumps "OH HEHE, NO REASON." You become more curious "are you sure?" You see a sweat run down his face."WELL.." You curiosity grows "oh tell me tell me tell me!" He sighs, turns to you and looks into your eyes "Nepeta, I really like you..." You blush and look down "I like you too.."

He smile brightly "so... You'll go out with me?" You smile back "yes!" He pulls you in for a hug. You walk together too class and enjoy the rest of half of the day together. Sadly you don't have the other two classes together but luckily he lives sorta near you so he can walk with you home.

You walk home together and you hug goodbye, you rush inside too your computer to chat with your friend Equius.

CT:D--> I wouldn't say so much as that but congratulations i guess.

AC:33< thanks!

CT:D--> i must go, my butler brought me more milk.

AC:33< ok bye

You plow on your bed, you are so absolutely excited. You can't help but smile from the gleaming joy inside you. You've never had a boyfriend, wow you can't wait till tomorrow. You keep trying to go to bed but you couldn't for some reason until hours later.
