Percy's POV
When Isabella had told us of the meeting in the Big House, I nodded. I knew she wasn't talking to me, but I wanted her to know that she didn't have to tell me again. I headed out of the arena with Zoe and Luke, heading back to the cabin. I needed to grab a drink of water before we sit in a meeting with over fifteen ADHD demi-gods for three hours.
When I got my water, I told Thalia to come with Luke, Zoe, and I. I didn't bother Nico, I knew he would probably strangle some campers if he went. Besides, he needed to spend time with Bianca and Will. I cared for him like a brother and I could tell he was still a bit shocked that he had a sister.
We were walking to the Big House, my girlfriend and second and third in commands in tow. We walked in to see almost all of my old friends there, and the not-so-friends. I saw Connor and Travis Stoll, Katie Gardner, Clarisse, Annabeth, Jason, Isabella who is there because Hazel is at Camp Jupiter, Butch from the Iris cabin, and a bunch of others. Alex was unfortunately there too, but I didn't count him.
"So, would Isabella, Annabeth, and Alex enlighten us on why we are here?" Chiron started up the conversation.
"We wanted to talk about strategies for the war. We never really had a plan for when we have charged into battle the last two times, and I would feel safer if I knew we had a backup plan if the Elite Team need help," Annabeth explained. I could see everyone grumbling and nodding their heads at her statement. Once a child of Athena, always a child of Athena.
"I think we could have border patrol. We don't know when End's army will show up. We also have word that there may be spies in the camp," I say. I get craziness in the room from the spy part, but Annabeth, Alex, and surprisingly Isabella stayed silent.
"SHUT UP! Let's back up to border patrol. We can ask about the spies after we have a plan made," Clarisse said. Let it be her with a level head in the middle of a war meeting.
"Thank you. Now, I want four teams of two at each edge of the border of the camp. We can switch out every three hours," I suggest. I get agreements and nods of heads from my statement.
"Now that we have patrols, I will make the partners later and deliver them before dinner tomorrow. I already have paperwork to do. Back to the point, spies. I got an anonymous note saying we have three spies in the camp," I lie about the anonymous part. If the spies were in here, they could use it against my cousin and blackmail him.
"Did it say anything about who the spies are?" Isabella questions. This girl pays attention.
"No, unfortunately. The sender didn't know who they were," I say back. She nods in response and we take the rest of the meeting talking about formations and other stuff. I did zone out for most of it, to be honest. So did the rest of my team. We all had a plan anyway.
-----Time Skip to after the meeting-----
"Wow I forgot how much I hate those meetings," Luke grumbles.
"I whole-heartedly agree on that. I can also speak for everyone that we were just zoning out? I noticed it on all of your faces," I say. We sit at the pavilion, enjoying the weather. I see Isabella and Alexander mindlessly sit at the same table as us. I don't blame the new daughter of Hades for following him, she didn't know me back then, but I do mentally scowl when the son of Zeus sits at our table.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" my girlfriend questions. If I asked it would be more of a growl, to be honest with you.
"Oh sorry, we didn't see you here. We can leave if you what," Isabella states. Ah, now I feel guilty, and so does Zoe judging by her expression.
