Being friends with Jace Valeska is not easy, much less impressing him. However, this young girl did it.
Maya is her name, well the name he gave her. The two had met while Jace was out stealing sweets, he felt his pocket and bags get lighter and noticed maya stealing from him.
This caused Jace to obviously, yank his stuff back from the little girl. They both started fighting and when Maya lost she was impressed with Jace. she didn't use her meta human abilities cause she didn't usually need to on People, but Jace had won his stuff back fair and square.
So she followed him around, like a lost puppy. She didn't speak, Jace did most of that. He would ask for her opinion split food with her and genuinely just enjoy her company after he got over himself.
