Partnership

You strolled into work already dreading the day you had ahead of you. You didn't want to work with anyone new. You barely liked working with yourself. You had no idea why your agency chose you of all people to do the partnership with another agency. You just knew you hated it and it hadn't even started yet.

"Good morning Y/n"One of your coworkers spoke dragging you from your thoughts

"Good morning"

"You're wanted in the main office"

"Already?"You groaned since you hoped you'll have a few minutes to just sit at your desk and get time to yourself before proceeding with the work day

"Yea they've been waiting on you for a while"

"Why? I wasn't scheduled to come in until now"

"I don't know. I was just told to tell you to go to the office"

"Thanks"You responded and made your way there

You knocked on the door then opened it and caught the eyes of the two people in there. You were surprised to see Endeavor. When your boss came to you about the partnership it never once crossed your mind that it'll be with Endeavors agency.

"Good morning"You mumbled to them both as you went to the seat your boss gestured to

"Y/n as you know this is Endeavor. We'll be working with his agency for this partnership"Your Boss spoke and went back to whatever conversation they were having before you walked in

You ignored the conversation though because it seemed boring. You occupied yourself with your own thoughts. Attempting to think of what you'll eat when you got home or what show you'll watch before you went to sleep.

While your brain ran through random things there was a knock on the door followed by it opening. That didn't catch your attention though instead it was the voice that pulled you from your thoughts. You definitely knew that voice it belonged to Shoto Todoroki.

"Sorry I'm late"He spoke walking in gaining all three of your attention.

You felt a tickling sensation in your stomach the more you looked at him. It was just your luck that you were going to be working with the person you've had a crush on for two years. You weren't sure if it was a curse or a blessing.

On one hand you were going to be spending a good bit of time with him. On the other hand he could end up not liking you so it'll be awkward constantly seeing him for the mission. It was also going to be unprofessional to start anything with him but you honestly didn't give a fuck about professionalism if it meant you had a chance to date Shoto Todoroki.

"Shoto this is Y/n. She's who you'll be working with for the time being. You can sit next to her"

He sat down in the chair next to you and the meeting continued with your boss speaking with Endeavor. They were planning how to go about executing the partnership. Neither you nor Shoto said much during the discussion. You both mainly spoke when spoken to. Other than that you two were left to listen.

"Y/n and Shoto you'll be patrolling this area for the time span of the partnership"Your boss spoke pointing to a spot on the map "the crimes have been getting higher lately around there. It seems to be the same people committing the crimes too. We want you to figure out who they are and catch them before it gets worse. That's why we teamed up because the area is near both our agencies and we would like to end the crime as soon as possible. You're both smart people and you assess situations well. We trust you two will end the problem in no time"

"Okay"You both nodded understanding what they wanted of you

The conversation went on for a bit longer before they sent you two to patrol. It was very awkward just walking down the street in silence with someone tagging along. It felt as if you two were just heading in the same direction and not working together.
