Chapter 33

I wake up. It's interview day. I'm very nervous. What if they bash us? What if they think we're stupid? I get Lindsey up. I go take a shower. I put on my outfit. I have a casual everyday type dress that is maroon, a gold necklace with my initials on it, some sandals, a fancier beanie, and circle gold earrings to match my necklace. Dad wears a nice flannel. Mom wears a cute blouse and jeans. Lindsey wears a high wasted skirt and a fancy crop top. I don't mess with my hair or face. I've been told there is people for that. Neither does mom or Lindsey. We all finish getting ready. Dad can tell the nervousness on my face. He turns on the camera. "You nervous?" He asks as he vlogs me. "Yes," I reply as he hugs me. We all head out the door. We take a taxi and we make it to cnn. We sign in then they take us through security. Then a security guard takes us to the dressing room. I sit in a chair. I take off my beanie and the lady curls my hair. Another woman does my makeup. I look over and the same thing is happening to Lindsey and mom. Then I see dad getting his photo makeup stuff on. The hair artist places the beanie back on my head. They finish up on all our makeup. I tweet "Nervous, but excited! You guys will know when it's over." Then I get a picture of all of us together. I post it on Instagram with the caption, "COOL THINGS HAPPENING!" Then we put all of our devices up. We're called into the room. Lots of HUGE cameras. We sit on a red sofa. I can tell the cameras are on. "Today, were joined by Charles, Allie, and Alanis Trippy. We're also joined by Alanis's best friend, Lindsey Karson," says the interviewer, "Can you introduce yourselves?" "Hey I'm Charles. I've been making videos on the internet since 2005. I'm the bassist in the band called "We The Kings"." "I'm Allie. I starting dating Charles and I had no idea he made videos so I just kinda joined in." It's my turn now... "Hi. I'm Charles and Allie's daughter, Alanis. I was named after Alanis Morsette and I've been recorded ever since I was born." "I'm Lindsey! I've been Alanis's best friend for about 5 years and I've adapted to what her family does. I love it"
