I slowly wake up. I look over. I see IVs in my arms. I look down and I have an oxygen tube in my nose. I also have a hospital gown. "Not again," I think. I look over to see mom and dad. "Charles, do you wanna tell her?" "Sure." "Well, you had a seizure," dad tells. I sigh. "Don't panic, everything will be okay." Then Lindsey walks in. She says hi. "Your friend saved your life," mom tells me, "It it wasn't for her, you'd still be laying next to the lockers." "Thank you, Lindsey," I mutter but I really mean it. She says she rushed over here right as school ended and her mom is in the waiting room. Her mom has my backpack too. Then I hear my phone that's in Lindsey's hand beep. It's a text. I see that it's Lexi.
