Herrscher Of The End: Honkai Reign

Hey everyone!

After returning to Honkai Impact 3rd, I got inspired to write this AU! In fact, I might even make this a series!

So, before we get started, let me explain some stuff for you. The lore will be pretty similar to the canon, but since this is a HI3 AU, there will be some major differences:

༻✦ First and foremost, there is no Apocalypse Virus. Instead, the Honkai eruption occured due to the awakening of the First Herrscher. I'll let you guess who it is. Anyways, humanity's population has not drastically dropped. However, if they aren't slain by the Honkai, regular humans will be affected by the Honkai energy emitted by the, well, Honkai and turned into zombies. Which act like actual flesh-eating zombies because why the hell not?

༻✦ There is no Cursed Gear or demons in this universe. The humans aren't regular soldiers either; they're genetically modified warriors known as Valkyries that have artificial Stigma implemented in them. The Stigmata makes them somewhat immune against Honkai energy. And yes, I'm aware that all Valkyries are in Honkai Impact are female, but who says they can't be male? Another thing; Valkyries are named after actual valkyries, who are Norse (or Greek?) battle angels. Humans also use regular weapons made of a special material (special steel/bullets/lasers) to fight vampires and Honkai.

༻✦ Vampires are also unaffected by Honkai energy as they are said to have descended from the first Herrscher. As a result, they already have Honkai energy in their DNA, so they can't turn into zombies. Along with that, they can actually control zombies and make them their soldiers by giving them their blood, kind of turning a human into a vampire.

༻✦ Instead of having Seraphs, we have Herrschers. Herrschers are considered Honkai Gods. They are humans possessed by a core who is given the task of destroying humanity. A person turns into a Herrscher when their body absorbs over 2000 Honkai Watts (HW) or more. They can be sadistic, emotionless or a straight up bundle of rage.
