Jake and I snuck out in the morning. Although, sneaking out was almost impossible, because no one ever sleeps, and they have people like Aunt Alice and Dad who can see in their heads what I'm about to do or what I'm thinking about doing. Jake was good at quick ideas. I quickly grabbed my red sweatshirt and hopped out of my window. Jake was hiding in the forest, waiting for me. I figured my parents wouldn't realize I was gone, since they've been in their bedroom all night. I believe my mom was just trying to calm my father down, from what happened yesterday. Jake sprung out of the woods, in human form. He was waiting to get passed the boarder so that he could go into full wolfy mode. He knew that the treaty was void, but still, he knew the volturi was watching everyone's thoughts, especially Carlisles. Aro, Caius, and Marcus knew that he was the leader of the Cullen clan, or Cullen Coven if you will. My father told me that they knew his thoughts were probably most important. Jake took me by the hand, intertwining our fingers. "Hey beautiful!" He flashed his white teeth, before pecking me on the cheek. "Jake, we have to be more quiet, everyone is awake, they are always awake." I whispered. He put his finger up to his lip and nodded. We walked quietly until we were far enough for no one to hear us. I then saw a motorcycle, running and ready to go. "Jake, old gramps hates motorcycles. He would kill me if he found out I was riding one." Jake chuckled. "Ness, please. Your very own mother used to ride this motorcycle with me. She only got busted by your grandfather once. " I raised an eyebrow. "and how did that happen?" He looked down guilty. "Because I kinda told on her." I bursted out laughing. "Well, the good news is she didn't die from Charlie killing her, so what do I have to lose?" He smiled, loosing all the guilt he had just seconds ago. "Well, we should get down to the Quileute Res, everyone is bringing they're inprintees, my father wants to show us the history of imprinting. It'll be good for you, to understand that there are so many different legends." I jestured "Shall we?" He nodded. "Okay, well, how do I get on the running vehicle?" He chuckled, shaking his head. He then got off the motorcycle, and lifted me onto the bike. "Hold on tight." He said with a grin, and then we were off.

We soon arrived at the Reservation, meeting Sam and Emily, Quill and Kim (Kim was now 8), Leah, who hadn't yet imprinted, and Seth, who had just imprinted on a girl named Maryenna. Maryenna was a shy girl, she was about 18. She kept to herself, but if you talked to her, you'd see she was really cool. Her skin was tan, her hair dark, and her eyes were the most beautiful green. I envied her eyes. Seth had gotten very much bigger since I had seen him a few weeks ago. He got taller and bulkier it seemed. Jacobs father, Billy, took a seat on a log, as did everyone else. "We gather today at daybreak, for the light is new, and reborn from yesterday," he began. "Today, we talk about imprinting, the history of where it started and why it happens. Long ago, Khalil Mai, was a newcomer to Forks. He was originally from Africa, then moved to Canada, then to Forks. He was Native American, like us. Little did he know, that he had the blood and destiny of wolf inside of him. One day, Khalil was walking around the town, and saw the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen, love at first sight if you will. He followed her to the edge of town. He wanted to be anything for her, a brother, a friend, or a lover," Jake squeezed my hand and stared deeply into my eyes, then returned back on Billy. "He finally met up with her to simply ask for her name, but in a flash, she disappeared. At this point Khalil was very, very confused. That confusion then turned into anger. He then started feeling hot. And suddenly he was no longer a teenage boy, he was a wolf. He howled and hissed for his mystery women. Some people believe that he still roams around the empty town that he once searched for the woman in, howling, and calling for her. We know why she disappeared.," He stared at me with a menacing look, which frightened me. He gulped " She was one of them." Still frightened, and a little cold, I clinged onto Jacobs heated body. He was wearing a short sleeved shirt, as always. He looked at me and grinned. "You know there is no way I can get rid of you? Even if I tried, it would be like taking a knife to the heart, -" I put my thumb to his lip "shhh" I said in a whisper. Then I was asleep.

I woke up in Jacobs lap in my parents living room. Jake was also asleep. I carefully stood up and looked for my parents. "Mom? Dad?" I said in almost a whisper. And soon enough, in a flash, they were there. "Yes angel?" Dad answered. "Oh, nothing. I was just wondering where you were." He smiled. "So much like your mother used to be..." he said under his breath, then looked at her. "Mom, what were you like?" I said curiously. "Oh, well, your father has known me since I started living here, so he might be able to tell you, it's too embarrassing for me." Dad chuckled. "Fine Bella, but you have to listen." She folded her arms and rolled her eyes. "Your mother was very stubborn-" She rolled her eyes again. "Hmph, here we go again." Dad got excited. "Just like that! But, she was gorgeous, she was pale, not like now, but she had blood in her cheeks. Her heart would beat every time I came close to her a little faster. She absolutely hated my driving, I once tricked her into going to the prom, and she was absolutely, positively, clumsy. She tripped over her own foot!-" She shook her head. "Honey, I think that's enough for today." She then walked away, beginning to prepare lunch for Jacob and I. I then heard a yawn come from the living room. "Wakie wakie sleepy head!" I said kissing him on the cheek. "Hey bright eyes." He yawned, still weary from his sleep. "You seem happy today." He mouthed, stretching. "Good, refreshed, warm sleep can do that to you." I smiled showing my teeth. He shook his head. "I love you, no matter what trouble is going on with those creepy blood suckers in Italy. I'm not going anywhere."I smiled. "Well, I'm glad you're not going anywhere. I kinda need you, and I kinda love you too, and you sorta can't go anywhere without me." He brightened. He pressed his hands to the sides of my head and pulled me into a warm kiss.

"Jake! Renesmee! Lunch is ready!" My mom called from the kitchen. "Whoa! I slept that long? It's noon?" Jake said , realizing what time it was. He sat up, scratching his head, his hair all disheveled and cute like. "Yes," I said through a chuckle. "it's time for lunch, lets goo!" He smiled. "Mornin Bells! What's for lunch?"He said comfortably walking into the kitchen. She lightly punched him in the shoulder. "Leftover chili, I added a few things from yesterday though, Ness said it wasn't 'chili like', but how should I know?" She laughed. "Sounds great!" Said Jake enthusiastically. We ate lunch in silence, a few conversations here and there. "Renesmee, you have a bedroom for a reason! Now the sofa is all disheveled." I groaned. "Then where is Jake going to sleep!" She shrugged. "I don't think your father would appreciate Jake sleeping in the same room and same bed, but I don't know why your father should object, since he slept with me every night." My chin dropped from the words my mother just spoke. "Wow, and he's so overprotective of me because...?" She sighed. "Because you're the only little girl we're ever going to get." I sighed, my mom was right. "I'm sorry mom. I wish you could have more kids, I wish I could have a sibling, I'm sorry." She looked at me. "You can still have kids though, I have hope for you. " I nodded. I hoped I could have children. "Renesmee! You look like you're 17!" My mom said, interrupting my thoughts. I quickly got up and casually walked by the mirror. "Would you look at that? " I laughed, so did Jake. "Renesmee, this means..you can go to school! High school!" My mom exclaimed. "Really? Why now?" She sighed. "We were waiting until you turned 7, because 7 is when you stop growing. And now you're 7. I think you're old enough to handle high school." Jake seemed worried. "What's wrong?" I said, holding his face in between my hands. "I don't know, I'm not going to be able to see you every second of every day, and I'm afraid you're going to find someone else." I looked at him like he was silly. I hugged him. "I'll never find someone as great as you, and I'm pretty sure you're the only one who can accept the fact that my family and I are monsters." I whispered in his ear. "We're both monsters." He said whispering back in mine. "I love you." I said. "I love you too."
