There was shouting as a crowd was gathered around a wooden pole with a bunch of wood at the bottom of it. It got louder as guards started walking out with a prisoner. The prisoner was a beautiful young woman with long silver hair and brightest blue eyes. Her expression was plain as she was lead to the pillar. The king and queen were watching from further away, the queen trying not to look away as she watched the prisoner, her sister, calmly walked to her death.
The woman got tied to the pillar and her eyes locked with that of her sister's, the queen almost commanding that this be stopped but knew that that will only lead her to the same fate as the womans.
"The charges of Silvia Grettan is that of treason and of willing harm upon the king and queen! Does the witch have any last words before her burning?" The guard said.
The woman, now named Silvia, smirked a small bit before her eyes began to glow and her silver hair gracefully started floating around her head. The crowd was in awe and then she spoke, an echo in her voice and her words were to leave a heavy mark on the world for several years.
"Two girls, one from light. One from dark. The dark girl and the light girl shall switch worlds. The dark in the light and the light in the dark. The girl from light will develop powers that she couldn't imagine. However, the girl from the dark shall lose hers. As the girl from light learns her powers, a twisted man shall rise to steal them. The girl from light shall defeat him, but will have to make a choice. Stay in the dark and keep her powers or go back to the light and lose them. Their choices shall change both worlds for centuries to come and both will go down in history in different ways."
Silvia had finished her prophecy right as they lit the wood under her. She just looked right at her sister, crying while smiling. If this was the only way to protect her, then Silvia would gladly do it.
Hundreds of years have passed and the world is no longer a monarchy, but a democracy. A man stands in a lab wearing a suit and tie, looking at two frost covered cryostasis pods. Scientists bustle around him and he sighs.
I will heal you both... My precious Jenny and Delilah. The man thought as he looked at the screens for the respective pods.
One screen showed the body outline of an adult female and vital signs as well as a name that read Jennifer S. Rubison.
The other screen showed the body outline of a little girl and vital signs, that were worse than the woman's, as well as a name that read Delilah L. Rubison.
The man was lost in thought but was soon snapped out of it as a scientist tried to get his attention. "Mr. Rubison! We found the scribing of that prophecy that you heard about. We can start analyzing it right now to see if there's a possibility that it's true."
The man, now named Mr. Rubison, turned to the scientist. "Well? What are you waiting for? Get on it now."
The scientist nodded and got back to work. Mr. Rubison turned back to the two pods, softly smiling.
Soon, my family will be whole again. Just you wait, Jenny... Delilah... We'll be together again soon.
