04| "You Twat!"
"What are you saying? What is she saying? Mason! Answer me god dammit!"
"Calm down, Oliver." That unwanted guest said.
"You fucking stay out of it." I hurled her away in aggression.
"Watch your actions, Oliver." Mason pushed me back.
"Quiet both of you." Rafael slammed the door shut. The cold was out there. Then why do I feel it in my heart.
How could he do that to her? He said he loved mom. Didn't he think of her even once while touching Vittoria?
Scratch that, he fucking bought her as a slave. Just how!
"Here." Rafael sat down next to a sobbing Vittoria, bringing a glass of water to her lips.
"Thanks." Mason snatched the glass smugly, doing the task.
She had cowered deep into the black couch, wrapping her arms around herself as if trying to shield her body from the disgust she was feeling.
"Why didn't you tell me, sweetheart?" I swept away the jet black strands stuck to her face.
"It's disgusting. It's shameful. I couldn't tell that to myself. I feel so dirty."
"No sweetie, you don't have to feel that way. He should've been disgusted." Allegra placed a hand over her shoulder.
"We don't have time for the past." She wiped her tears. "What is the meaning of this? Is this a silent warning that Camila could be next?" She trembled.
As much as I hate to admit, that's the first thought that crossed my mind.
"What do they want? What are they demanding in exchange for Camila?" Mason enquired.
"Nothing. That's the problem." Rafael replied.
I swear I saw a secret exchange of dialogue taking place between Mason and Allegra. Blue eyes met my inquisitive ones and immediately looked away as if being caught.
I don't trust her. Not one bit. Neither do I believe the crappy story she fed us with.
Nikolai and her have been together for so many years. But then again she's always been a cheat. What can I expect from someone like her.
I wonder if she's been using her body to lure Mason into whatever her ulterior motive is. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case.
Mason seems to be innocent, nothing to be afraid of. The guy genuinely cares about Vittoria.
"Oliver." Rafael gestured towards the kitchen. I nodded and followed him, ignoring their questioning gazes.
"I don't trust Allegra at all. You're making a mistake, Rafael."
