"Never really been to a party, not even a house party." Taylor told Joe as he drove to Kentrell's house.
The car had been filled with silence he had picked her up, Taylor having nothing to say to him and Joe not wanting to make her upset.
"You haven't? Shii, were you not popular in school? I'd expect you to be." Joe looked at the road, surprised.
Taylor laughed to herself a bit. "You couldn't have possibly thought that. After everything, I distant myself from everyone and everything. Ended up being the girl everyone bullied."
