The History of The Akumas

Adrien's Pov

Ms. Cheng, Marinette, and Nino accompanied me to the gym, where we began our daily training. Nino and I began with a few jumping jacks, then continued with some push-ups. It wasn't anything too difficult since it was just some warmups. On the other side of the room, Marinette and her mother were also doing a few warmups, they started with some stretches and then moved on to some sit-ups. After twenty to thirty minutes, Ms. Cheng said that we'll be doing weight lifting again. For the last three days, we have been working in this area, I was getting bored but I knew better than to complain. Each individual's goal was to lift five to ten more pounds than the previous day, however, it's fine to lift more but that's optional. An hour passed and we finally got a ten minutes break. Ms. Cheng, Marinette, and I needed some water, while Nino wanted to go to the restroom. When the time was up, we proceeded to go to the digital room for teamwork and combat training. Ms. Cheng and I were partners while Nino and Marinette were partners. Yesterday she was partners with Ms.Cheng, the day previous to that all four of us worked together and before that, it was individual combat training. I haven't gotten the pleasure of being her training partner but then again, I don't want to be punched or kicked in the stomach. At first, Ms. Cheng and I had a bit of trouble with teamwork, considering that she prefers to plan ahead every single detail while I like to quickly finish the job and improvise at times. But eventually, we got along, we made a detailed plan from our current knowledge and then improvised wherever a loophole was. Our training finished after about 40 minutes, Marinette and Nino finished about 10 minutes after us. We each went for a bath before going to the reading room. There we each will be reading about specific items and substances that we take interest in that can help in the future Hawkmoth battle. Ms. Cheng said she's researching poisons, Marinette is reading about hacking and Nino wants to know more about firearms. I wasn't sure what I want to do so I decided to research more on the history of the Akumas. The history may give me some clues on their weaknesses or anything else that could be useful. The Akumas is the organization that I was in, Hawkmoth is the current leader. I was able to find out that Hawkmoth's father and that he had a brother, who happens to be the leader of the Miraculouses. Apparently, Hawkmoth was training another child but for some reason, she left? I couldn't find out why or her name, but her alias was 'Ladybug'. She was brought up by Hawkmoth and they were close. No wonder, he never paid attention to me until I was about 11... Natalie became his personal assistant the same year Ladybug ran away. Natalie was always my personal trainer so I never took notice of when she actually got promoted. And fath- Hawkmoth was still very distant towards me but since the last two years, he's given me more recognition... and punishments... I decided to find out more the next day, the research time was up. 

Third Person Pov

(A/N: Please don't call me out on the time periods, I tried to make it match up but I'm not sure if it did and now I'm confused)

The Akumas were actually a part of the heroic group known as the Miraculouses. About 5 decades ago the Akumas were formed when the leader of the miraculous and his personal assistant got into a heated argument over a plan of stealing a prized jewel to pay off debts. The two males did not come to an agreement and separated. The assistant, Fonce Choix, left the group along with a few others and made their own group. They named the group Papillon, Fonce being the leader. As a group, they sold unlicensed firearms, assassinated their targets, and stole from prestigious establishments. Sometimes they even framed others for their crimes. However, the group remained in the shadows and disposed of anyone who had betrayed them or was useless to them. After about a decade, Fonce met his past boss on the battlefield. Aider Lui (his past boss) knew that his precious assistant was the 'mysterious villain group' that everyone had been gossipping about. The two had fought for hours before their bodies could no longer endure anymore. They both collapsed, unable to move an inch. Because of this, the tranquility was restored and they eventually talked/yelled things out. Each part of the story was given and they both understood why the events of the past unfolded the way they did. They forgave each other and once again became one group known as the Miraculouses and they became best friends. Fonce adopted 4-year-old identical twins 3 years later and Aider assisted in the upbringing of this child (mainly because he thought Fonce would mess it up without a wife or girlfriend). They named them Gabriel Choix and Chenille Choix. Aider like Gabriel while Fonce was attached to Chenille. The twins were inseparable but as they grew they drifted apart. Gabriel took after Aider while Chenille took after Fonce. Gabriel was always thinking of legal and appropriate ways to handle situations and to become respected while Chenille thought that humanity was a lost cause and that they should do whatever they needed to survive and become fear. Soon this difference in opinion pushed them farther away as they'd never agree. Fonce and Aider realized this problem but it was too late, the boys were steadfast in what they believed and the two friends feared that the past would soon repeat itself. And what they feared soon became reality. At the age of 15, Gabriel and Chenille start to argue over almost anything and refuse to refer to each other as brothers, the only things they agreed with was that they loved their father and uncle (they called Aider 'uncle' because they grew up with him and as a sign of respect) and that Fonce shouldn't be in a relationship with any of the females that Aider forced him on dates with. When they both turned 17, they had a huge argument over who would take over the company when their uncle retire. The argument went on for hours and eventually, they silently decided to not speak or interact with each other unless absolutely necessary. Fonce and Aider tried their best to let the two talk things out but nothing worked. The twins kept up this charade for a year and only spoke to each other if it was very important. When their 18th birthday arrived, Aider announced that Gabriel will take over the company while Chenille would be his personal assistant. This was apparently because Gabriel was a few minutes older than Chenille. Of course, Gabriel was satisfied while Chenille wasn't but Fonce and Aider thought that Chenille was a bit too similar to Fonce's past self and didn't want to take such a risk. They thought that the twins would have to speak to each other now since they were working together but apparently, they were incorrect. The two would silently pass notes and rudely give each other documents, leaving the other to figure out what is to be done with said documents. This bothered their guardians very much and so they forced themselves to pretend to have sorted their problems out whenever Aider or Fonce was nearby. Luckily for the twins, Fonce and Aider bought the act and had honestly thought that history wouldn't repeat itself. When the twins were 22 years old, Aider and Fonce went to buy groceries and never returned. They both died in crossfire between two bandits and three police officers. Gabriel and Chenille were devastated and as expected Chenille wanted revenge. He wanted the lives of the five persons responsible. And again, Gabriel and Chenille had a huge argument. Gabriel reminded Chenille that they belong to a heroic company while Chenille's bloodlust and hatred grew. The two came to a temporary agreement to settle the argument after preparing the funeral. And that is exactly what happened, the day after the funeral the argument continued. Gabriel vowed to remove those that he held responsible from the face of the earth, while Gabriel continually objected as they were not supposed to break the law. The two once again stopped talking and continued with their lives. A few months later Chenille left the organization and decided to make his own organization, the Akumas. He carried out his vow and killed the 2 bandits and 3 police officers. However, he still had lost faith in humanity and successfully did whatever he needed to survive and to become feared. The children of the members of the Papillon and many new persons were recruited because of the need for money. Sabine Cheng later became an assistant after an Akuma accidentally saved her life. She was being chased by a murderer since she witnessed her (the murderer) in the act of the crime. Luckily for her, the murderer had killed an akuma was now one of their targets, so she was gotten rid of in the same alleyway that Sabine was hiding in. Days later, Sabine found out about the organization and decided to join since she felt like she needed to repay them. She applied for a job as a hacker but was given an assistant job instead. About 2 years later, Chenille brought a 1-year-old baby to his headquarters. Sabine was tasked to train and teach her when the child reaches 18. Chenille became attached to the child and wouldn't hurt her no matter what unless it was for training. She was always with him and he became her father figure. He even taught her how to shoot and use a knife at the age of 6. By the age of 9, she was already training using simulations. At the age of 13, she had her first mission which she executed perfectly as 'Ladybug'. Chenille was extremely proud and couldn't hurt or yell at her no matter the circumstance. Marinette always tried to make Chenille proud and did her best at everything. She excelled academically and in training and missions. She loved her 'father' dearly and though she didn't agree with what her missions consisted of, she never said anything and continued to carry out her missions without question since she trusted her 'father'. However, at the age of 15, she accidentally found a file with her information. She learned that Chenille killed her parents because they were in dept and took her as a baby. He was supposed to raise her as his future personal assistant and killer 'machine'. After finding out the truth, she asked Sabine who had no idea. They searched for Sabine's profile, only to find out that when Marinette reaches 18 they planned to kill her. The two packed their belongings and fled without informing anyone.
