Just A Wholesome Moment

Adrien's Pov

I dropped face-first onto my bed causing my girlfriend to chuckle. "You okay kitty?" She asked as she continue staring at her laptop's screen. "Yeah... just tired," came my response, though my words were muffled by the mattress. "Come here." I rolled over to my princess and placed my head on her lap as I stared up at her. She seemed so focused and serious. I wonder why... "What are you doing?" I asked. What? I want to know! "Just a bit of spying on the Akumas, specifically C- Hawkmoth." Was she going to say something else? Nah, I'm just too exhausted to hear properly. "Mmm... Can't you do it later? I want cuddles!" Why isn't she giving me attention? I want my precious purrincess to engulf me in her warmth! "Later, I promise." Did she just- I sighed, "Fiinnneeee!" She chuckled at my pain and began humming a tune. Soon, my eyelids started to drop and I fell into a deep slumber. After what seemed like 5 minutes, I awoke. Slowly I opened my eyes to find Mari missing. She probably went back to her room... Aw man, I wanted cuddles. Luckily today's a break since Ms. Cheng will be going for groceries. It's been three months and one week since we got here and only once a month do we receive a break! Though I'm accustomed to training for days in a row, I'd usually get more than just one day off... Mari and her mother seem fine with it but Nino and I are absolutely out of fuel! I wonder what time it is. I picked up the phone and found out that I had been asleep for about 7 hours. It was three o'clock, what should I do? I've been awake too long so falling back asleep will be difficult. What should I d- Oh! I know! I'm going to sneak into Marinette's room and cuddle with her! Perfect~!

I made my way to Marinette's door and quietly opened it. I slipped into the darkness and closed the door. I snuck into her bed and wrapped my arms around her waist while snuggling into her neck. "Mmm..." She sifted around and hugged me back. "Chat?" Does she like Chat more than me?! What the- Oh, wait... I'm Chat... "Yeah, go back to sleep." We stayed in that position for a while before I fell back asleep. I awoke when I felt my warmth disappear from in my arms. Groaning, I sat up. Geez, her mattress is so soft. "Morning kitty. Sorry that I woke you." She said as she grabbed a towel and a change of clothing. "It's fine." She smiled before entering the bathroom. I decide to do the same and made my way to my room for a bath. After 30 minutes, I walked back to Mari's room and waited for her on the bed. She came out of the bathroom 40 minutes later, fiddling with her hair. "Hm? Oh! You were waiting? Sorry, I decided to wash my hair and re-dye it." She dyes her hair? Oh! Right! She said her original hair colour is black, and Ms. Cheng's original hair colour is dark purple. "Adrien?" I was snapped out of my thought and back to reality, oh sweet reality. "Are you okay? You're a blushing mess." She stated as she put up the towel and placed her dirty clothes in a basket. "Y-yeah, I'm fine. You just look..." I trailed off unable to finish my sentence. Her figure was so perfect and her eyes shimmered as they reflected the light from the ceiling. "Thank you?" She chuckled as she sat beside me. I want- No! Adrien, no! "So do you want those cuddles now or later? We have an hour." She looks so innocent... But I do want those cuddles! I immediately wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her onto my lap. She giggled as she wrapped her arms around my neck and legs around my waist. "I love you." She said as she cuddled into my neck. "I love you too princess."
