"Harold Jenkins?"
"Who the hell is Harold Jenkins?"
We are sitting by the bar in the house watching Five. He just gave us a paper with a name on it. 'Harold Jenkins'. Five and I just got back from the commission. I'm still laying down on the counter, not feeling like getting up. Five chugs down a coffee before looking back at us.
"I don't know... yet. But I do know that he's responsible for the apocalypse. So we have to find him. And we have to do it now." Five told us. He was leaning against the couch behind him. He kind of looked hurt from the way he was standing. 'I'll talk to him about that later'.
"How is he connected to what's gonna happen?" Luther asks him.
"I don't know."
"Wait so you just know his name? That's it?" Diego asks him.
"That's enough." Five said defending himself.
" There's probably dozens of Harold Jenkins in the city." Diego said to him.
"Well, We just better start looking, then." I spoke up. They all look back at me, they probably forgot that I was even there. Five gave me a small smile which I returned.
"I'm sorry. Am I the only one that's skeptical here?" Allison asks us. " I mean, how exactly do you know all of this about what's his name?"
"Harold Jenkins. You know those lunatics in masks who attacked the house?" Five asked.
"Oh, yea, I think I remember those guys." Klaus said.
"Yeah, the ones that attacked us while you were getting drunk." Diego said, looking over at me in the process, I guess he's remembering what had happened to me.
"Yeah. Them. They were sent by the Temps Commission to stop me form coming back and preventing the end of life on Earth." Five told us.
"The Temps what?" Allison asked, not understanding what he had said.
"My former employer. The monitor all of time and space, to make sure that whatever is supposed to happen... happens. They believe the apocalypse is coming in three days. So we went to commission head quarters and intercepted a message that was meant for said lunatics. 'Protect Harold Jenkins.' So he must be responsible for the apocalypse." Five finished. I looked at everyone's faces and saw only confusion and a bit of thought.
"What do you mean, protect time and space?" Allison asked.
"Where is this Hazel, Five?" I think Diego said. I couldn't hear what Luther had to say.
"Do you have any idea how insane this sounds?" Allison asked. Five really did look hurt. He looked up from looking at his stomach to look at Allison and started to speak.
"You know what else is insane? Delilah and I look like 13 year old children. Klaus talks to the dead, and Luther thinks he's fooling everybody with that over coat. Everything about us is insane. It always has been."
"He has a point there."Klaus said from the couch.
"We didn't choose this life, we're just living it. For the next three days, anyway." I heard Five remark.
"But the last time we tried to stop it, we all died. Why isn't this time different? Why shouldn't I go home to my daughter?" Allison asked him, panicking a bit. I stood up from the counter and walked over the best I could to Five.
"Because this time, I'm here. We have the name of the man responsible. Guys we actually have the chance of saving the lives billions of people." Five announced out to them.
