Savannah Rose is my name, also known as the school nerd.
I go to Brighton High School in California, I am in my jr. The population is about 900 students, we are located next to the beach, so that's were most of the students go to ditch. Though for me I got to the library, will permission of course.
I am your average nerd I don't socialized very much, I am pretty foolish and over all challenged with making any contact with anyone other than my family.
I absolutely love going into the library to read. I got to the window in the corner of the room, there is a view of the beach. Sometimes I can see the other students out there surfing or hitting on each other. I wish one day that could be me. With my self-consciousness I know I will never have the courage to.
As i look out at the poplar's and extras, one person stands out to me, Luke. Luke is Brighton's team captain in varsity for football, baseball, and basketball. He is known for being a played and a jock.
The thing that most people don't know about us is that we are neighbors. He had lived across from me ever since freshman year. We use to get along, till the end of our sophomore year he pushed me away. I never found out why and now I am all by myself and I don't mind that.
As I see Luke out there i get reminded of out freshman year and how we were closer than ever. I see him hit on girls and I turn my head, back into my book.
I cant stand any longer, I am going outside today.
I want to change and be normal.
