Second chance

i felt numb to open my eyes but still i did. a bright flash was continuously hitting my face which made me difficult to adjust my vision. after few attempts of blinking, i watched sharply. where am i?

i took steps forward and looked around slowly. everything is white, confusing. my hands automatically reached my eyes to rub it twice and see around clearly, still its same. few seconds of turning around i found something few steps ahead of me. i walked towards it. as i reached i found it was not something but someone. that person faced their back towards me.

i hesitantly took my hand to reach their shoulder but to my surprise the person turned. that's when i realized it was a girl, nearly my age. She had silver colored hair which i had once in my early twenties. She smiled at me, without my knowledge my lips turned to give her a pleasant smile. who wouldn't smile back when she was damn beautiful. i was about to speak but she started,

"its nice to meet you luna" she again smiled. i was confused that its my first time seeing her but she knows my name.

"how do you know my name?" i asked

"how i wouldn't know the name of child who i admired everyday?" she replied.

child? she looks nearly my age and calls me child? she admired who? me?. my eyebrows frowned.

"i couldn't get you. who are you?"i finally asked

"i am selene. the moon, you looked up daily"her face never left her smile. my confusion hit its high.

"moon? what are you?..don't talk rubbish" that's it for my patience. "where am i?"i literally shouted. but no changes in her face. she tried to touch me but i shrugged. i am not uncomfortable with her it just feels strange.

"get hold on yourself my child. think, think where were you before coming here?" she said out of nowhere.

my mind randomly played a scene of me getting into an accident while i am driving my car. my head gave me a sudden pain back side of it. i touched it tightly just to see blood covering my hand. i was confused and looked at her.

"what is happening?" i asked still holding my head in my hand as pain grew. without saying anything she came towards me and touched my shoulder. its a second, my pain went. i took my hand just to see no more blood anymore.

"who are you? what just happened?" i asked.

"i already introduced myself but for you i can do again. i am selene, the moon and i know you cant get me but all i am saying is true. the place you we are is inside you. deep inside yourself i came to meet you"

"but why?" i asked directly.

"only you know. The last person you thought of seeing was me, you imagined me. so i was dragged inside you" she replied calmly.

Just after a second my mind again played a scene of me getting into a accident voluntarily and muttering something to myself while tears flooded down my eyes.

"i don't want to live anymore. i regret everything. i didn't live for myself but for the world. the famous young female CEO and sister of world biggest idol didn't give my any happiness. i couldn't just live as myself but rather spent my time just to make me perfect."

just as the scene played once again tears made its way to my chin and dripped but before that she, the girl who said her as moon wiped it gently.

"So why did you call me?" she asked in a calm tone.

" i regretted my life. i wanted to live it again but the world made it impossible so i want to end my life." i said things which i just couldn't remember at all.

"so, you wanted to end your life?"she asked still wiping my little tears.

"but what about the person who were still there in the world just to be intertwined to you?"she asked blankly.

"i cant understand" i said.

"the person who loved you to their core, you persons. do you gonna leave them just like that and come with me?" she asked.

again my mind flashed clips of my brother showing his at most care towards me and my whole family and yeah right, yu jun- my best friend and my love, taehyung images came.

"do you want to leave them?" she asked. now i was little hesitant.

"i will give you two choices my dear, do you want to forgot all and come with me or do you want to go in the world were you have been?"she asked.

i was still hesitant to answer her. my answer would be neither. i just looked at her and slightly took her hand from my cheek and hugged her. i don't know why i did it but all i want in this moment is just a hug from her. she just tapped my back and spoke in a hug.

"you daily told me about your problems and cried looking up to me as well as shared your happy moment by telling me. do you think i would leave my child just like that?" she spoke.

"i will make you forgot everything and happily give you a second chance." she pulled a little to see my face from my sobs.

"do you accept my offer?" i looked confusingly.

"i will take you back where you started your journey. you can change your present if you can. do you want that?" she asked me. i nodded. how couldn't anyone not accept some offer like this, these are just like dream. maybe when i wake up this will all be just a dream?

"yahh! lunaa.." a loud shout made me to sit straight. i shut open my eyes to see my mom scolding me from a far away. why am i here? i looked up to clock..7.30??
"did you just forgot you have your high school graduation today?" my mom gain yelled. oh shit i have to be at school by 8.
"i am up mom" i shouted in return and ran to bathroom to grab my brush.
