Danielle was walking back and fort in Stefania's living room, the brunette was sitting on the couch waiting for her girlfriend to calm down. Stefania had this idea about their relationship. People were keeping asking questions and as much they loved their fans and were grateful for all their attentions, it was becoming a little bit overwhelming to say the least and she was worried about their bosses asking question about them. They both loved their job and the fact that they had the opportunity to work together and they didn't want to messed that up.
Stefania had the idea to fake a relationship with her close friend Leco, also her photographer, to keep the rumors about her and Danielle quiet for a bit, but this idea wasn't really that great for Danielle, who finally decided to speak up about it.
«So let me see if i got it. You want to fake dating your photographer/best friend so people won't ask about us?»
She asked while she raised her left eyebrow. From her tone of voice she didn't agree with her idea.
«Absolutely not!»
Danielle finally said trying to not yell or get angry even more than she already was.
«Danielle, i'm trying to protect us both here! I'm not having fun, i don't wanna hurt you but it's really hard and we could lose our job.»
Stefania tried to make her understand why they had to do this but Danielle was pretty sure of her decision.
«First of all i don't trust that guy. Since last summer you two are spending too much time together and i get that he's your friend and that you two work together but there's something about that guy...i just don't like him.»
She was worried and yes, she was also jealous but could anyone blame her? Stefania was gorgeous, sexy, smart and their relationship wasn't public, and yes Leco knew about them but she wasn't sure about his interest in Stefania.
«Danielle...you're acting unreasonable. Leco is my best friend, we know each other since we were eighteen! If he would've feelings for me, i would have noticed. Please, try to think about it. It's actually a smart idea, i mean-...»
And then Danielle just spoke her mind interrupting her.
«What if i don't wanna hide anymore?»
Stefania looked at her with a confused look, but also shocked cause she didn't see that coming.
«What are you saying?»
Stefania asked already knowing the answer to that question.
«I'm tired of lying. I don't wanna do this anymore. I just wanna be with you and scream it from the rooftops.»
She said, while she was getting closer to Stefania and then she took both of her hands in hers and holding them tightly.
«Danielle...we can't and you know that.»
Stefania shook her head but she didn't leave her hands but she held them even tighter.
«Just let's do this, we can do this for a while and then we'll just..-»
At that point was Danielle that left her hands laughing nervously.
«But i don't want to! Don't you get it?»
Stefania was getting really frustrated and Danielle wasn't really helping.
«Oh my god! Don't be stupid now. Why are you acting like this? Danielle you are acting like a kid and you spent a day with your ex this last summer and i didn't tell anything about it cause i know you two are stil friends. How dare you to come at me and acting jealous right now?»
The situation was crazy, Stefania was yelling at that point and Danielle was looking at her with a guilty face. Okay, Stefania was right but she had no right to unvalue her feelings about her and Leco.
«You know what? I'm done here. If you can see what are you doing here, if you can understand my feelings and how i see this, i don't know what to say to you Stefania. It's not about work anymore at this point. I think you're a coward and it seems like you are just ashamed of who you are and who are you in love with and i can't do anything about it so i'm gonna go.»
Danielle just grabbed her coat and her bag, Stefania tried to said something but words were stuck on her throat. She was processing Danielle's words. Was she really afraid to tell the truth to the world? Stefania woke up from her thoughts when heard Danielle shouting the door. She had left and Stefania stood there watching the front door and then she felt water on her face. She was crying.

Danielle was in her car waiting for Lachlan to get out of his own house. He was the only person who knew for sure what was going on between her and Stefania. I mean, Barrett and Jaina knew too but she talked with Lachlan about absolutely everything and he was the right person to go to in situations like this one. Danielle turned her head when she heard the door opening and there he was. Lachlan could see Danielle's red eyes from that distance. He wasn't sure for how many hours but he was sure that Danielle had cried for a while. He got in the car looking at his best friend. He didn't say anything, he just hugged Danielle and let her cry on her shoulder. They will have all the time in the world to talk but right now Danielle needed him.
