*Tenten's POV*
If I said that I was nervous, it would be an understatement.
This is the second time that I've freaked out like this. First was when I confessed my love to Neji. That was really freaking me out, and now I'm super nervous about the competition that I'll probably win.
Well, I win if Natsumi's friends don't try and sabotage the whole competition.
JSN are the most annoying group of girls I've ever seen and Natsumi Sato is one of them. She's number one fangirl of my boyfriend and my rival in every competition and sports activities.
My friends said that they would do their best to stop Jen and Sue sabotaging the competition and I believe they will, but I'm still nervous. This one is very special, if I win, I'll go in NYC for the next competition. I'll do my best to win!
"Tenten, it's time to go to school!" My mom yelled from the other side of the door.
"Okay, I'm going mom!" I answered and grabbed my school bag. I ran downstairs and gave mom a kiss on the cheek. "You'll be on my competition, right?" I asked her.
"Of course! Me and your father will be there to support you, honey. I'm sure you're going to win!" She said with a warm smile and I hugged her tight.
Neji was waiting for me outside in the car. I got in and gave him a kiss.
"Hi," I said and put on the seatbelt.
"Hey," He said and drove the car. "Are you nervous?" He asked and I sighed.
"Honesty, yes, I am. Not because I doubt my abilities but because of Natsumi and her friends... Okay, maybe a little about my abilities too." I answered truthfully.
Neji squeezed my hand, "Don't worry, okay? We'll make sure that Natsumi's friends don't make any fuss, and about your abilities, Tenten, you're the best athlete in the whole school and I think in whole Konoha, there's no doubt that you win. You're the best and don't forget that."
My eyes filled with tears and if he wasn't driving I would probably hug him hard.
"Thank you." I told him and instead of the hug, gave him the kiss on the cheek. I will definitely hug him and kiss him when he stops the car.
My fist class was science and I had it with Hinata and Sakura. Ebisu-sensei is our teacher. I'm not really a fan of that class.
I greeted Hinata and Sakura and set behind them.
"How is our best athlete doing?" Sakura asked.
"A little calm now, I was freaking out and Neji calmed me down." I answered and noticed how smirked started forming on Sakura's face and Hinata smiled.
"Aww," they both said at the same time.
"Neji's softie for you!" Sakura said cheerfully.
"And so does your boyfriend for you!" I noted and she shrugged with a grin.
"Girls, be quiet!" Ebisu-sensei said and we all stopped talking.
After the lesson ended, I went in the gym and started getting ready. Temari arrived soon too, she was going to help me practice before the competition started.
"You're doing great!" She said while clapping her hands.
"Thanks!" I told her with a smile and continued doing the tricks.
*Sakura's POV*
Today's kind of busy because of Tenten's competition and my mom's and Ino's mom's fashion show. Ino is going to be modeling and I'll be singing. Ino has been freaking out for whole day because it's her first fashion show. Tenten said she wasn't freaking out because Neji calmed her down but I know she's nervous too.
