That's all he saw before he felt his body being pulled down. Air brushes through the fabric of his clothes to his pale skin. Lawrence realized he was falling upon quickly opening his eyes he saw that he is going to land on the cement concrete of an abandoned parking lot. He braced himself for impact as he soon felt the pain of his fall. His muscles ached and burned all over. He groaned and carefully checked his body for injuries. Looking through his purple hoodie, black shirt, and pants he only found minor bruises on his arms and torso. Standing up he looked around to see buildings towering over each other a few miles away. The odd thing about the sky was instead of blue like he normally used to, it was completely blood red with a few dark clouds scattered along with a giant pentagram glowing brightly.
'Where am I? And why can't I remember anything?'
Lawrence gathered his thoughts on how he got here but only to find his efforts in vain as if his memories were erased from his mind. The more he tries to remember, his head only throbs in pain. He knew he was getting nowhere just from standing there so without hesitancy he pulled the hood over his head and walked forward in the direction of the city. He thought less attention focused on him, the better. He is in another place similar to his own world, after all, who knows what living beings reside in the city. Just the thought of seeing something else besides people gives him dread. He is grateful he is wearing tennis shoes in case he needs to run. For now, needs to find someone for help, he doesn't have any items he could use so he hoped nothing bad would happen once he gets there. Arriving in the city he's surprised to know he's in hell when he saw a building that has a sign that says :
'Welcome to hell'
'This can't be real.' Lawrence thought.
He's certain he's not that of a horrible person to land here and yet here he was. Alive and well although a bit bruised up. He hoped he would find some other folks who are in a similar situation as him to ask for help and hopefully, he wouldn't encounter any demons on his way there because he's completely defenseless to fight one, let alone kill. He stands corrected. He saw demons walking everywhere he passed by. Their appearances range from humanoid to otherworldly abominations. As he walk along the sidewalk he stumbled upon a crowd gathered in front of a TV store named
'Radio Hacks'
Curiosity piques his interest to watch. He knows he shouldn't stay too long in one spot but he's curious and he needs more info on his whereabouts to navigate and survive safely. Lawrence carefully stands in the middle of the crowd at a safe distance to watch. The channel he's watching is supposed to be a hellish version of the news. 2 demon newscasters who introduced themselves to be Katie Killjoy and Tom Trench who are wearing a gas mask.
