The beggining of a new life

August 23 , 1991.
Scotland.

"Y/n! Did you pack everything dear?" Your mom said from the kitchen .

You finished putting your last piece of clothing onto your luggage " Yes! I'm done" you said and closed it before sitting and letting out a sigh out .

"Is everything okay?" Your sis said while walking in.

"Uhm yeah , I guess so" you said and shrugged .

"You guess so?" Your sister said while sitting next to you " Is fine to be overwhelmed , but you're talented , you're gonna be fine" she said and smiled before hugging you .

"Thanks..." you said and hugged back " I'm going to miss you a lot" you said .

"Aww me too , but you know , you can always write me letters, don't forget to tell me if anyone is cute " she said and winked at you , you shook your head and pushed her lightly. After a bit you heard your dad calling your name " Y/n let's go honey , we need to get going !" He said as he walked upstairs to help you with your luggage .

You sighed and sat up , you carried your hand bag , and your sister also helped with your other stuff , when you got to the car , you sat in the backseat with your sister and you two begun to listen to music on your Cassette player.
After 60 minutes of driving you got to the train station , you got off the car and your parents helped you up with your luggage , they placed it on top of a luggage cart and they took you to the platform . You sighed and hugged your parents an sister before running to the wall , you closed your eyes tightly and then you opened them when you heard many voices , you saw a whole different world , you stared in awe, when someone took your luggage " I'll take care of that , now get on , we're about to leave " the train worker said " Alright , thanks!" You said and walked in the train.

As you walked in , you looked around for an available sit , you walked by a cabinet with 3 more people inside , there was a empty spot " Uhm hey" you said as you opened the door . The 3 of them looked at your direction , they had a car full of sweets .

Guy 1: "oh hey , is this your first year as well? I'm Ron , Ron Weasley " the guy said.

"Oh , yeah , nice to meet you Ron I'm Y/N L/N , and yeah , I'm from a muggle family " you said as your last name is from a Muggle family .

Girl : " oh! I'm from a muggle family as well , my name is Hermione Granger " she said and shook your hand

Guy2 ; " oh hey , and I'm-"

You: " Harry Potter? Yeah I saw the *points at forehead* but it's nice to meet you as well is a great honor" you said and smiled lightly " Uhm do you guys mind if I seat down with you guys?" You asked nervously.

Ron: " Of course!, take a seat" he said and patted to the spot next to him .

You: "Thanks" you said and sat down .

Hermione : " And ? Is there any favorite spell you have?" She asked you since she knew you're a book worm .

You; " Hmmm I like many spells , but my favorite is Alohomora" you said " It have opened a lot of doors in my life , literally " you said and chuckled lightly.

Hermione : " That spell is cool , specially when you need a quick run" she said .

You two kept talking while Harry and Ron looked at each other in confusion .

-a few minutes later-

The train finally stoped and you guys stud up " Wow" Harry said while looking out the window .

"Is beautiful " you said in awe .

"It really is" Hermione said .

"Mhm!" Ron said with a mouth full of those weird jelly beans.

"Come on , let's get off" you said and walked out the train , as you walked out a guy stud on the side .

Guy: " your luggage is going to be translated to your dorm once the welcoming ceremony is over "

All: "Oh okay , thanks"

As you guys walked to the main entrance you bumped into someone .

"Ugh , watch your steps " a guy with slicked back ash blonde hair said as his eyes rolled .

"Oh , I'm sorry you majesty" you said sarcastically.

"Ugh excuse me ,mud-blood" he said and rolled his eyes at you , but then he stoped as he saw Harry " Oh well , would you look at that , what is the person that everyone has been talking about doing with these....people " he said as he gave you a dirty look .

"These people-" you said but you were stoped by Harry.

"These people , are my friends " he said

"But why them? Join us , you'll be better with us , The name is Draco Malfoy " he said with a smirk .

"No thanks , I prefer to be with These people , rather than being with your kind of People" he said making the guy mad. 

"Ugh, you're gonna regret this " he said and with that the principal appeared .

"Good evening , and welcome to Hogwarts , school of witchcraft and wizardry, I'm always existed to see the new faces that enter this building every year and then see them become amazing witches and wizards , I'm the headmaster of Hogwarts , Albus Dumbledore , I'm pleased to meet you guys " Dumbledore said and with that the doors opened and everyone started to walk in .

All of you were sitting on the dinning room , the tables full of food of all kind , it was awesome , as you guys waited a strange wind came through, and suddenly you saw many ghost flying around , you got scared of course , but the principal said they're friendly .

~ A couple minutes later~

Everyone were already called to know in what house did they belong in , you weren't called yet , you gazed to the front as Dumbledore was about to say another name .

"Draco Malfoy...."

You followed him with your eyes as he sat at the stool , the hat was only a few inches Above his head , and it spoke "Slytherin!" , you saw him smirk and get up to walk back to his table , you sighed deeply as you were the only one left , Dumbledore called your name and you stud up , you walked up the stool and sat down , the hat was placed on your head.

"Hmmmm I see..., quite a lot of potential , smart , independent , responsible..., Hmmm Ravenclaw!"
The sorting hat said as you got up , you sighed in relieve and you saw Ron , Harry , and Hermione cheering for you .

After the ceremony

You guys got taken to your common rooms , it was a the Ravenclaw Tower , at the west side of Hogwarts. To get in the door would ask you a random riddle , and you would have to answer.

"What came first , The phoenix or The flame?"

Ravenclaw head: " A circle has no beginning"

And with that the door opened .

"Alright, girls on the right , boys on the left , your personal belongings are already in your dorms , you shall go to sleep , all of you have a long day ahead of you" and with that the head girl walked in the girls dorm with you and your other house mates.

You got to your bed and pulled your pj out , you dressed down and wore your pj's , you then placed your uniform in a place were it won't get all wrinkly or dirty , then you brushed your teeth , an went to bed .
