Am I what they say I am to be. Have I done what I was destined to cause. Am I the monster I inherited from a broken family. Will I do much worse. We make the choices; not our destiny. We choose to be who we are, but we only follow others instead of leading on our own. I thought I had friends that cared. Instead they only used me to make them feel better and look good. I'm different and there is no changing me back. What's done is done. The fairest is what they call me now. They call me their queen and savior but, the only thing that lays under my fair skin is pure hatred. I locked it up. I'll do what has to be done to keep my power even if it means I have to unlock my feelings. For I am Poison La Love of Rose Blood. Queen Poison.

She was there the night the streets were stained red. The red was the death of innocent lives. The blood of the good. We were falling one by one like dead bodies in a graveyard. Going into deep dark pits never to be awoken again. I was the last one standing, in the middle of the island's downtown. Slipping like slimy salamanders in the shadows. She came out. I wasn't ready to face her. She didn't care if I died on the street I grew up on. She wanted me gone. I yelled at her with anger. I yelled at her for killing my family and for the island. That night I could have died but she missed, trying to hit me with her magic. She missed on purpose. She still hit me and I fell like a three legged table. Laying there in the cold damp soggy soil cover in the blood of my dead friends. She walked away.

A long time ago there was an island that was only known about by certain people. A place where there were wizards and magic. It even had a machine that could make everything that you have ever dreamed of in your life. There are two other islands too. They made up a wonderful world for everyone. All of the people were different from elves to trolls and vampires to werewolves. There was no war, no evil, nor death until we had the Great War. With beautiful stones trapping all bad things inside only leaving the good to stay. You may have a pure soul of good or evil, but may the best wizard win.

The three blazing suns shining through my old apartment window woke me up unexpectedly. My thin dirty blonde hair covered my face as I pushed the the gray covers to the end of the bed. Climbing the ladder down from my bunk was the hardest because I'm so clumsy and I'll probably fall. After, getting down I walked into the diner style kitchen only to find my best friend and roommate, Piper, making a delicious breakfast.
"Good morning, Lydia!" Piper exclaimed.
"Good morning" I replied back.
I sat down in the booth Piper insisted in getting for our diner style kitchen and started eating one of my favorite foods. Fluffy, syrupy, pancakes. I was thinking of heading to the coffee shop before my final test for doing magic on my own. Magic came easy to me because I was given a necklace of these enchanted charms. A few minutes later, I waved goodbye to Piper and strolled out the rustic red apartment door.
The island I lived on could not be explained in words. It was perfect. Piper and my apartment was located in one of the many old buildings paced in the downtown. The old stores fill with magical enchanted things bring the island life an so do the beautiful flower boxes on the windows. Some of the buildings have a tiny store on top of the building below. I think that it's so creative to save extra space by doing that. I also love the carts on the streets selling handmade goods. I put in my ear buds while walking own the sidewalk. Singing on the corners of the streets and at the coffee shop was how I made extra money to spend or give to the others who aren't as lucky to have a home.
Once I go to my dearest coffee shop I slipped in to pick up a frappuccino. Inside the coffee shop there were tables with daisies painted on the top of them and white metal chairs with woven enchanted daisies for the cushions. At the counter was one of the wise elders. His name is bob and he always has my order ready for me when I walk in.
"Hey, Bob!" I exclaimed as the bell on the door rang.
"Hello, sunny, how are you doing on this fine morning?" He replied.
"Good, and you?" I asked.
"Wonderful, I repaired the small stage on the side of the room so you could make money and sing songs to the customers!" Bob exclaimed cheerfully with a wink.
"Thanks so much Bob!" I replied.
I climbed onto the stage and set up the mic and equipment. I liked to sing a variety of songs that I knew by heart. I really liked to get the people into the beat and make them happy because it always makes my day. The first song I would sing would be House of Gold by Twenty One Pilots. The next song after that would be by Jonas Blue fast car.

After finishing singing the songs I almost fell off the stage while getting off, but someone caught me. I didn't recognize his face and he look a lot like me; dirty blonde hair, green eyes, yet he had tattoos up his arms, he was muscular and he looked a year older than me; maybe like twenty-ish.

"Watch your step, ma' am" said the unknown man coldly.
"Thank you very much!" I replied cheerfully trying to hide my anger.

After that, I walked up to the counter to grab my double chocolate chip frappuccino. Then, I left the café without a sound. While walking on the sidewalk I saw a vendor on the street selling bouquets of flowers.

"Nice day we're having, mate?" Said a man on the other side of the cart of flowers. He looked my age.
"Yeah" I replied back.
"I'm Eggsy" He explained.
"Awesome name! I'm Lydia!" I replied cheerfully.
"I don't know anyone from this island, would you like to be friends?" Eggsy asked nervously.
"I don't see why not" I said with a smile.
"Ok! Here's my number, I gotta go!" Eggsy replied as he hurried to write his phone number down on a piece of paper.

I waved as he ran up to meet what looked like his brother. The other guy looked exactly like the guy at the café. It was odd, but I turned around and bought a fresh bouquet of flowers for the apartment. After buying the flowers I walked back home to make a fresh batch of cookies. On the way home I thought I should text Eggsy.

The Next Day

I woke up to the fresh smell of fresh pancakes. My roommate had made them. Her name is Piper and she makes the best homemade pancakes on the island. I quickly put on my Great Britain flag tank and black leather looking pants. I let my long dirty blonde hair flow freely behind me as I walk out of my room.

"Hungry?" Yelled Piper from the kitchen.
"I have to go to the café diner...maybe for dinner!" I exclaimed from the from door to our apartment.
"Have a nice day!" She yelled out the door.
"You to!" I yelled back walking down the steps to the exit while waving my hand as if I were waving goodbye to her.

Once I reached the café I met up with Eggsy and we sat down to wait for the other singers to get off the stage. We also had our orders brought to us as we waited. I picked up the booklet that had all of the singers names that were singing today:
