Prologue - Happily Ever After...Or so I thought

"Eun-Yoo, I'll be back I promise" I hear Eun-Hyeok say, I look up with dull eyes landing on the tall male, "You promise?" Said Eun-Yoo with a hard stare, the targeted male hesitates for a brief second but he manages to choke out an "I promise" with a bit of a smile, standing up from my fetal position from the floor I walk over to the duo "Oi Eun-Hyeok, I'll go with you" before he could protest I continue "Eun-yoo...I love you, even though you can be a little brat but your the sister I did get to save" I smiled at her sadly, looking at the others then her "You should go with the others" I say as I nod over to them, she pauses ''But, What about you? What are you gonna do?" she says with a grim face, I chuckle "Well my sweet, I'll be going with your idiot brother, there's something I've got to tell him" I wink at her and she giggles knowing what it was, a deep voice rings out "Eun-yoo, you should go now" as said idiotic brother gently pushed her towards the others, I watch her back as she walks further away, she slowly turns around to see her brother exiting the bunker and me waving at her, she smiles sadly and waves back, I watch her pass a corner and disappear from my line of vision.

Stepping on the wooden steps of the bunker's entrance, I exit the bunker and step onto the chilling snow, I look over at the poorly made graves and smile "Thank you guys, for all that you have done, rest easy. I hope you are watching the snowfall, laughing and eating as much as you like" with teary eyes, I bow showing my respects "You will forever be in my mind and heart...we will be joining you shortly" I straighten my back "So you knew?" I hear Eun-Hyeok say, turning around to face him "Of course I knew idiot, I know everything" I smile as he rolls his eyes, grabbing his hand we walk over to the entrance of the hotel, I grab gasoline and Sang-Wook's discarded lighter, I then move to the security room with the expressionless male in tow, I sit on a nearby chair putting the bottle of gasoline next to my feet, I look over to the only other person here to see him looking at a picture of his family "You know you could have gone with her'' I say to him "I know'' he says while still looking at the picture "You said something to Eun-Yoo, about telling me something" he looks up to me "Oh right, I did say that, I know this is a bad time to say something like this but I love you, I have ever since we first became friends when we were still kids, you've been there with me for everything even when they all die-" he cuts me off "I love you too, i've always had a crush on you even when we were just classmates, if things were different, I would've loved to marry you and have kids, It was always on my mind and maybe, just maybe in another timeline it ended differently and we got our desired ending'' he kisses me gently on the lips with tears silently running down our faces.

Crumbling sounds could be heard everywhere around us, thick concrete smashing on the floor close to us, electricity sparking, bending down I picked up the gasoline and started pouring it on myself, drenched in gasoline I picked up the headphones and put them over his head gently placing them on his ears, I slowly bring my hand down his arm closest to me and grab his much larger hand, using my left hand I grab the lighter out of my pocket I start it up and chuck it on the floor and watch as the whole room lights up in flames, I close my eyes waiting for my story to end...except it didn't.
