COTE: Jurassic Period

Prologue

Who knew that my quiet, peaceful life at this school would one day stop. I never expected that all the students of the school would literally disappear at one moment, and then appear in a new place. Naturally, I was also among them.

Me and Class D appeared in some kind of cave, you don't know where. We had nothing but the things we had with us earlier. In particular, each person was wearing a school uniform and their bags with things. Well, it's better than nothing.

- God, where am I?!

- Oh, fuck in the mouth, what happened?!

– Why are we in some fucking cave?!

- God, these are our last moments in life, right?! Fuck, okay, I'll admit it! I'm gay, guys, fuck me before we die!

Everyone except Hirata immediately distanced themselves from this guy, not wanting to stand next to him. Even the blond narcissist decided not to get involved in this shit. Well, I personally like girls, so I'll step aside too.

Some amoebas of my class... I mean, the students of Class D suddenly thought of taking out their phones and turning on flashlights on them to illuminate the area around us. Well, now it was clear that we were definitely in a cave. But to put it another way, we're totally fucked.

- Fuck, there's no connection here!

- Shit, there's no shit. No internet, no phone connection, no fucking way!

Some were very unhappy with the current situation, but I tried to remain calm. So, what do normal people do in such situations? That's right, I do not know, because I am an abnormal person. That's why I put my hand to the nearest wall of the cave and felt the force. These were weak vibrations coming from one of the three directions available to us. I wasn't sure if I should go there, but I went anyway.

I quietly left the group of my classmates, whom Kushida and Hirata were trying to calm down, and then moved in the direction from which the vibrations were felt. Walking alone in an unexplored cave is not safe at all, but now I just wanted to get out of this place. I already didn't care about my classmates. I don't want to wait until they calm down and come to their senses, so it's better to sort out the situation first.

I had to walk some distance until a voice behind me called out to me. She has been chasing me all this time, but only now decided to call me.

"God, don't go so fast, Kiyotaka. A girl needs time to keep up with her man, you know.

It was my girlfriend, Karuizawa Kei. To put it simply, she is my faithful tool with which I learn the feeling of love. Well, I can say that it is of little use, my heart has never beaten faster since we started dating at the end of last year. She wanted to announce our relationship to everyone soon, but I only saw it as a problem. I shouldn't draw too much attention to myself.

–It's just that you're walking slowly, Kei.

I'm surprised that she managed to get away from our classmates unnoticed, but it doesn't matter anymore. Whether they look for her or not, I don't care, as long as no one gets in the way.

When we reached the end of the cave, a bright light hit me in the face. It was the sun that shone brightly in the firmament. I looked around and noticed that everything looks quite strange from the outside of the cave. This place is full of vegetation, its quantity is quite large. At the same time, I don't hear any background sounds that are usually present in such places. Something strange is going on here.

And it was also unusually hot that I even had to take off my jacket in order not to start sweating. The temperature was still stable in the cave, but not here. It's really not normal.

– K-Ki-Kiyotaka... whaaat's this...

Kay pointed her hand in a certain direction, after which I looked there and noticed something unusual. It was something even more unusual than the whole landscape around and the abnormal heat. A creature walking on two legs was moving towards us to meet us. Unfortunately, this creature was not human, I would rather call it...

– T-REX!!!

Kay screamed like a little scared girl and grabbed my hand, then tried to take me into the cave, but I didn't want that. If this was the only way out of the cave, then I definitely didn't want to be locked in this place.

Now it was also clear what exactly was creating such a shaking that I could feel in the cave. The walking of this dinosaur really shakes the world.

A representative of the Tyrannosaurs ran at me and was already quite close to me, but at the last moment I was going to act. I really didn't have much chance against a creature that was several times bigger than me, but I could at least try to do something.

Suddenly, this huge thing stopped a few meters away from me, as if sniffing at me. I've heard that if you don't move, you won't be noticed. At least I could check this myth for truthfulness. But that didn't seem to be the case.

While the Tyrannosaurus was still sniffing me, I turned my head towards Kei and noticed that she was very scared. It seemed that a little more and she might wet herself with fear. Well, I'll hope that doesn't happen, because I don't want to find her a change of underwear.

Suddenly, this huge T-rex made a strange sound and slightly tilted its muzzle towards me. By the actions of this creature, I could tell that they didn't want to eat me yet. But why does a predator dinosaur not want to eat such juicy prey as me?

I touched the muzzle of this Tyrannosaurus and suddenly realized something. We were similar. I felt that something connected us even through time and space. I didn't know what exactly connected us, but it was something that made our connection incredibly strong.

I also understood perfectly well that this was a female, and she was hungry. I have to feed her as a token of gratitude that she didn't eat me. My gaze slowly fell on Kei, who was still shaking with fear. I decided to call her closer.

- Kei, come here. Don't worry, she won't hurt you.

– B-but... Kiyo-ta-ka... that's...

- Don't worry, everything will be fine. Don't be afraid of her.

My girlfriend took a bold step forward, then another, and then another, and so it took her about a minute to reach me. It's been a long time. She also stretched out her hand towards the muzzle of my new friend, and at that moment I moved slightly behind her back. It only took me a second to push Kei forward.

– Ah?! AAAAA!!! KIYOTAKA!!!

Kei let out a scream when my new friend opened her mouth in front of her. This female seemed hungry and intended to satisfy her hunger at the expense of my girlfriend. Well, I didn't mind, because I let her do it myself. The next moment, the Tyrannosaurus swallowed Kei whole and began chewing my girlfriend in her mouth. For about ten more seconds I could hear her shrill crying and screams, after which everything finally subsided.

Suddenly, between the white fangs of a tyrannosaurus rex, the lonely hand of my ex-girlfriend slipped out. This hand fell to the ground, blood was flowing out of it, it was obviously carelessly torn from the body, but it wasn't that important. I picked up this severed arm and threw it towards the dinosaur. After that, the female easily caught my feed and ate the limb separated from the body. Enjoy your meal.

I wonder what I should call her now? I would like to give her a name like my pet. I think I'll call her something cool.
