Secret Letter

Dear Satou Hiroshi, the genius of normalcy,

For as long as I can remember, all I ever wanted was to be you. All I ever wanted is to have a normal body, normal friends, normal families, normal life, just like you. But, everything that I am is far different from everything that you are.

I'm not average, I'm not normal. I'm the opposite.

I hate that. I hate how I can't fix my life to be normal, average and uneventful like yours. I hate that I can't be you--- and I should hate you.. I should hate you for being something that I have always wanted to be. I should hate you for being average and normal and ordinary. I should hate you,

But I don't... I don't hate you at all. No, I admire you. Everything that you do, everything that you are. I like you, Satou-kun.

I can never be you. I can never be like you at all. I can never live a perfectly normal and average life.. But I will do anything and everything to protect yours.. I can make sure that your perfectly normal life won't get bothered by any small and/or big inconveniences. I can be there for you when you need me.

I'm very glad that I met you Satou-kun, and maybe someday, when I have the courage,

I could be your friend. I could walk with you to school, hold your hands, have a normal conversations with you.. Maybe then you'd teach me how to fit In and be normal.. or not, or we could just enjoy each others company

Anything feels fine to me as long as I get to be with you..

"Nice handwriting-" Toritsuka said. "So, when are you going to send this to Hiroshi?"

"Never." Saiki said telepathically, without any facial expression as always. But Toritsuka look shocked (and furious)

"WHAT?!" He yelled "You meant to tell you me you wrote all these corny stuff, just for you to not send it at all?!" "Man, Saiki, you're a pussy!!"

((Good grief)) Saiki thought to himself "Like you said, it's "corny" and I don't want him to think that I'm a weirdo (again) who wants to be with him." Saiki sighs and folded the letter so he could put it in his pocket.

"You're such a scaredy cat!!" Saiki rolls his eyes "don't talk like you've ever been in a real relationship before" Well-- that came out of nowhere, but Saiki said the truth. Toritsuka can only furiously walk away from Saiki, after getting called-out. Leaving Saiki all alone.

It was all silence and windy at the street, until Saiki heard something from a far..

"Satou, did you watch the new popular movie that's out right now?! Man, it's really good, you should totally give it a try!!" If he remembers that's one of Satou's friend speaking.

Saiki turned around slightly to see Satou, walking beside his friend, through his telepathy, he can tell that they're heading to the store. "Really? Sure, I'll make sure to check out!" Satou smiles brightly, in Saiki's opinion.

After they both walked passed him, Saiki watches Satou from the distance once again, walking away.. He couldn't help but grin.

"Someday.." he muttered out-loud.
