Elliot's eyes stopped glowing and his face went dull. He looked away and fell to his knees. Luke squatted down in front of him and gently put his hand on Elliot's face. "Dude, you're acting weird" He said softly. Elliot looked into Luke's eyes then looked away. "I.. I need to talk to you, but not here." He whispered. Luke nodded and got up, pulling Elliot with him. He pulled the younger one into the football field, there was no one there since it was raining so badly.
"I'm a-" "What are you two little faggots doing here?" Said a scratchy voice, followed by a little giggle. "None of your fucking business, wolf." Luke said, anger and disgust clear in his voice. "You're just jealous, because you're a weak little human, Lukas Birch." Said the girl. "Daisy and Dilan White, if you're here just to talk down to us, I suggest you kindly go have sexual intercourse with yourselves." Elliot said in the politest tone he could muster up.
The twins just growled and left the boys alone. "So, what were you gonna tell me dude?" Elliot was about to answer but then recalled the shier disgust that came out of Luke's mouth when he said 'wolf'. "Nevermind, it's boring, you won't find any interest in it." He said softly. Luke just shrugged and smiled.
"Let's go, Luke. You have a date with the principal." Elliot joked, grabbing his friend by the hand, pulling the young man with him. "Gross bro that's gay, and the principal's like- 62" "57, and-" Elliot stopped walking. "what's so wrong with being gay?" Elliot finished. "It's gross, I mean, how could you like the same gend- dude, are you okay? your eyes are doing that thing again" Luke said. "Luke. I'm gay." He said, clearly hurt. "I- Oh-" Elliot let go of Luke, storming off. "Elliot wait! I'm sorry!" Luke tried apologizing, but Elliot was already to far to hear him.
After hours of searching, Luke finally found his belov- I mean friend 🙄. "Elliot you had me worried, are you okay?" Elliot didn't answer. instead, he threw a stick at Luke. "Piss off Lukas." He said barely above a whisper. His voice hurt from crying for hours. "What the fuck Elliot! I said sorry!" Luke said. "'Sorry' doesn't fucking cut it Luke, just leave me alone." Luke rolled his eyes and sat next to Elliot. "Oh, and what happened to not missing school?" "I'm not even going home. actually, I'm going to live with Daisy and Dilan." Elliot said tiredly and blandly. "I'm going to court abou-" "DAISY AND DILAN?! ARE YOU FUCKING MENTAL?!" Luke yelled. "They understand m-" "They called us faggots, and worst of all, THEY'RE WEREWOLVES, how can they understand you, huh?! You're just as human as me, they hate humans! They're going to hurt y-" Elliot put his hand over Luke's mouth to shut him up. Elliot got up and just, walked away.
Luke tried to follow but Elliot would just make his sit every time he tried. Luke eventually gave up and just.. watched Elliot leave him. Luke looked down. 'how did he fall in those selfish idiots' trap? He's smarter than that..' Luke thought to himself. Luke furrowed his brows and lay in the fetal position, holding his knees. 'They're gonna make him leave me..'
