- I see the servants have managed to decorate the Yùlán, Brother. I must say your housekeeper is utterly upset by the fact that the Masters won't be at Cloud Recesses for the celebrations this year. I tried to convince her that they will be there for all the upcoming years.  All is ready for your return.  -  Hanguang-Jun said slowly.

- The renovations?  –  Zewu-Jun frowned. He also preferred to be home with his pregnant husband so that he could rest properly.

- Completed. Although I must say... the Hánshì   looks... interesting now.  –  Lan Wangji raised an eyebrow, staring at his brother with disapproval.

- Hmmmm.  –  Lan Xichen did not comment.

- What is it like now, Lan Zhan???  –  Wei Ying was sitting into his husband's lap, both sharing their dinner.

Jiang Cheng frowned  –  this was somehow... private.  He also disapproved of the messy way his brother was always eating whenever Lan Wangji was there  –  they practically ate from the same plate, with the same chopsticks, kissing each other a lot while eating and drinking; it was chaos.

- It is...  -  Hanguang-Jun was a little lost for words.  –  Unconventional.

Now Zewu-Jun was blushing so much that his body heat was coming off him in waves.  Sandu Shengshou looked up at him, surprised. He wondered what it all meant. Yes, Lan Huan had promised him bolder things to be done in bed once they returned and the baby was born, but still.

Why was he blushing so much? Gods, what was the new bed like?!?

Wei Wuxian laughed heartily. He winked at his brother-in-law naughtily.

- Zewu-Jun, nice!!! I approve!!!  You two, kids, should have all the unconventional sex in the world!!!  –  he exclaimed happily.

- Wei Wuxian!!!  -  Jiang Wanyin hissed through grinding teeth.

- We will do our best, Master Wei.  –  Zewu-Jun replied shyly, earning a shocked look from his husband.  –  Wanyin...  -  he leaned in and gently kissed his lips, making him melt once again, forgetting all.

Very flushed and wondering, Jiang Cheng said coarsely:

- I suggest we change the topic. I will be listening to  your  screams all night long anyway, Brother.   – he said maliciously.

Wei Ying blushed deeply as he felt with pleasure Hanguang-Jun's grip on his body tighten. It was a promise.

- Indeed. Let's change it.  –  Lan Wangji looked at his brother and his husband critically. The topic was uncomfortable for him too.

- What news, Wangji?  –  Zewu-Jun was now doing his best to get a grip and stop thinking about his husband, only completely naked.

- Just as I wrote to you, Zewu-Jun, I think you should return to Gusu as soon as possible. The Clan Leaders need reassurance as to the future of the Yunmeng Jiang Clan. Everybody expects Sandu Shengshou to return to Lotus Pier too.  –  he cast a quick glance at Jiang Cheng.

- I agree. We must travel back before A-Cheng's pregnancy advances too much. I am guessing it won't be a good idea for him to travel in his last months.  –  he mumbled.

He looked down, concerned, just to meet two large cat eyes staring back at him with love. Lately, Jiang Cheng looked at him with such overwhelming  tenderness that he was on the brink of tears just looking back at him. He kneeled up between Zewu-Jun's legs and their breaths merged again, and their kissed slowly and gently, not needing words.

- Sandu Shengshou. Zewu-Jun, please.  -  Hanguang-Jun cleared his throat, as the kiss didn't seem to be intended to end any time soon.

The two broke off, flushed, missing each other already, and Jiang Cheng sat back down at his husband's feet. He was panting, trying to concentrate.

- Sandu Shengshou,  -  Lan Wangji said sternly.  –  I am afraid you have to decide soon. There is no more time to delay this. After New Year's you will have to take action.

He nodded. Lan Wangji was right.

- As far as I can see, there are three options. –  Lan Xichen said, sighing.  –  There is the choice of the Yunmeng Jiang Clan merging with the Lanling Jin Clan. It would be unconventional, but your  Shìjiè   undoubtedly has seniority.

Jiang Cheng frowned. There was no way he was giving his men to the ridiculous Jin Zixuan.

- The second option is for the Yunmeng Jiang Clan to join the Gusu Lan Clan, as we are married, darling. And you are the Clan Leader now.  –  Zewu-Jun said softly and caressed his hair.

Everybody in the room fell silent, brooding. It was Jiang Cheng's decision, and he already knew too well what the third option was.

He finally mumbled:

- Or I could return to Yunmeng and rebuild. Build up the Clan anew.

Hanguang-Jun nodded. Wei Wuxian was staring at him with curiosity. He cared very little about labels  –  all of this was his family now  –  he made no difference between the Yunmeng Jiang Clan and the Gusu Lan Clan any more, as both were run by people he loved. Still, politically speaking, it mattered greatly. He hated politics.

- Option one is out of the question.  –  he said gloomily.  –  I am not giving the Lanling Jin Clan anything. Ever. I lost a sister to those idiots already, and that's enough.  –  he huffed.

- So, options two and three?  –  Wei Ying said seriously.  –  Even so, it is hard enough to decide.

Jiang Cheng nodded.

- What about you, Wei Wuxian?  –  he looked up at him, squinting his eyes.  –  Would you like to return to Lotus Pier? Live there? Rule there?

- Hmmm.  –  Wei Wuxian rolled his eyes.  –  It surely sounds... tempting,  A-Cheng.  –  he grinned. –  But the kids love it here... And we will finally be away from all the petty squabbles of the Clans. Away from your intriguing uncle, Zewu-Jun, Hanguang-Jun.  –  he turned to kiss Lan Wangji's cheek quickly and without warning, making him blush.  -   I think we would prefer to stay in a place that offers peace and quiet. Both me and Lan Zhan have had our fair share of... excitement.  It's your turn now, A-Cheng!

Jiang Cheng looked at Hanguang-Jun for confirmation, but he didn't seem to care at all. For Lan Wangji the only important thing was to have his husband near. Wherever Wei Ying was was home.

- I understand.

Sandu Shengshou felt his lover's arms on his body again, giving him comfort and reassurance. He was grateful. He would never have managed, if he had been in this situation all by himself.

- I am not too sure I want to return either. Lotus Pier is a beautiful place, poisoned by memories of the past. Perhaps I should let it rest in its ashes.  –  he said quietly.

- Wanyin...  -  Lan Xichen murmured softly.

- My life is in Gusu now.  –  he said firmly.  –  I mean this.

His fixed his eyes on Hanguang-Jun, wondering if he still doubted him, still disliked him so strongly. Lan Wangji's face was a stone mask, as usual.

- My life now is my husband, and our child. Everything else can wait.  And it will wait.  –  he grunted.

- Very well, Sandu Shengshou.  -  Hanguang-Jun bowed his head lightly, perhaps satisfied with that answer.
