I wake up in a dark room. There is a small light shining on me. I'm tied to a chair. I try to get up but my legs are tied to the chair too. "Great, just great." I sarcastically mumbled. I heard a door open and shut. A person in black walked I front of me. "Ah good I see your awake." The person said. "W-who are you?" I asked the person. "Im a person you never expected me to be." The person told me. I'm guessing the person is a man by his voice. "Who is that?" I asked. He sighed. "Look, can you just shut up for five minutes so I can talk?" The man asked. I mumbled a "sorry", and he continued talking. "As I was saying, I am a person you never expected to see. You are here because I have some questions to ask you. Why are you in an orphanage?" He asked me. I sighed. "Well my dad left me when I was little, but I'm sure he didn't care about me enough to come back, even after he told me he would." I started. He cut me off. "Now wait just one minute, I'm sure he had a reason he left you. In fact I bet he did care about you." He told me. "Then we did he leave? Huh? He just got up and left. He said he would come back but he didn't! Same as my mom." I yelled. I felt fresh tears coming down my face. "Your mom left you?" He asked. "Yes, and I'm out looking for you. But for now the state has to own me." I said. The man sighed. "Why did she leave?" He asked while rubbing his face. "She went to get groceries, and never came back." I told him. "This is all my fault." The man said. "How is it your fault?" I asked him. "If I didn't leave then this wouldn't have happened." He said. "Leave who?" I asked. "You still haven't figured out who I am?" The man asked. I shook my head. He sighed. He stepped into the light and took off his hoodie. I couldn't believe who it was. "Dad?!" I yelled.
