"Honey are you ready to go?!"

I nodded my head causing my blonde pigtails to jump up and down.

"Where's daddy?" I asked my mom as she grabbed the things by her and pushed me out the door.

"Daddy is going to be late but we'll go somewhere else for now to wait for him. Okay?" She said as she grabbed a pair of sunglasses and put them on her face.

"Mommy, what's that for? It's night time mommy." I questioned her as I pulled them off her face.

Her face was swollen and beat up.

"Mommy..." I glared at her.

"Honey get in the car okay?"

That's when I had heard a door shut.

"Daddy! Daddy!" I ran up and hugged him.

"Who did this to Mommy's face Daddy?" I asked as he picked me up above his shoulders.

"I have no idea sweet-heart but I'll find them and punish them." He said as he winkined at Mommy.

"Alexis get in the car. We have to go." Mommy said as she opened the car door.

'Where you going so late?" Daddy asked as he got closer to Mommy.

I didn't notice but Daddy had something sharp in his left pocket.

He then put his hand in the pocket and started to make it move around.

"Mommy is going somewhere far where no one can visit her." Daddy said as he pulled out the sharp thing.

I knew it was bad because Mommy's eyes, even her swollen one had widened when he pulled the sharp thing out completely.

Daddy had swung at her arm, causing her to bleed a little.

"Daddy, no. Stop." I said as I tugged at his loose arm sleeve.

He didn't listen. He just kept slicing and slicing.

By now I could hear Mommy's plea to me.

"Alexis...run. Run away." She grabbed her bleeding side and looked into my deep brown eyes. "Go."

"No Mommy! I'm not going anywhere!" I cried looking at Daddy and seeing the monster he really was.

"Daddy I said STOP!" I screamed and then there was nothing but white all around.

I cried and put my hands above my head as I screamed.

Then the light was gone and I looked over to only see Daddy with most of his skin peeled off. He was a bloody mess. The veins and the muscles was surrounding some of his exposed bone.

Mommy wasn't harmed in any way and I was happy again.

"Mommy? Can we go now?" I asked her as she grabbed my arm and put me in the back seat.

"Yes honey. Yes we can go." She said as she pulled out of the driveway and sped off.
