A new hope (Ninjago Morro fanfiction)

C H A P T E R 1

Morro has left for his mission to proove himself, Wu didn't really try to stop him, but left the front gate open in case the boy decided to come back.

Morro walked down the endless stairs of the high mountain the Monastery was set on.
He didn't dare look behind him 'cause he didn't want to meet the eyes of a man who just failed his destiny. He was ashamed,but mad, and he wasn't gonna let this slip, he would proove that he's worthy to be the Green ninja in Wu's eyes, in everyone's eyes, He'd find the Tomb of First Spinjitzu master and there's nothing stopping him.

Morro has searched through few caves, some had wild animals that were friendly, some had them dangerous. Some caves were filled with lava, and some had weird gases he was lucky to notice in time to escape.

Lastly, when he saw the wooden sign in front of enterance of certain caves, he though to himself how dumb everyone must have been to not realize this sign that is ooviously pointing out that the Tomb is here. And so he entered the caves,not knowing this is where he would meet his doom, in quite a painful way.

As he entered the the Cave, he started smelling something weird, but though that no matter what that is, this had to be the place, so no way he'd turn back now.
He walked further, but by each step he started feeling weird, kind of lightheaded, it made him scared and he started to regret this, he though that once his eyes close, and he gives in to the darkness, his mission will be failed, in such a stupid way. At the same time he started having weird feelings, as if something will happen and as if someone was there.
He couldn't walk anymore and he leaned himself on the stone walls, not knowing if he should try and continue further, or go back...both options seemed out of reach, and giving in was not a third option.
Suddenly he once again felt as if someone was in there, so his heart started beating even faster, which didn't mix well with his current state of inhaling weird gases. The panicking was getting real.

Suddenly, the ground started shaking, what was this? Earthquake?! Volcano Erupting?! Some usual cave shaking?!
Whatever it was, it was intense enough to make rubble fall and detach, making Drunk-like Morro have to avoid , get hit by some, and scream from both fear and pain. He started to loose his consciousness 'cause the stone breakage let much more amounts of trapped gases fill in the Air, and also few hits in the head just itself aren't good for someone's consciousness...

He tried to hold onto something, lean onto something, but merciless shaking and his own body weren't letting that happen. He thought this was the end. He then saw a figure running towards him, but before he could see what it was, and was it even real, his body gave out, making his head hit the edge of the stone, and fall to the floor, giving in to the darkness...
