A/N: This chapter is a little short so the next part will be related to it too, sort of like a part 2.

STEVE had lost his best friend, half a year ago now. He pushed away everything he loved, including Natasha, as he loved her the most. He did not want to lose something he loved ever again. It hurt so much, it felt as if his world had crumbled into pieces in seconds. He was so blinded by grief that he did not notice what he had right in front of him; Natasha. There was just this lingering feeling inside of him, he felt numb all the time and he could barely think about Bucky without feeling his heart crack a little more. Since he did not want to lose someone he loved again, and he felt like he had lost everything, he decided to seek affection in the wrong places.

Sighing, Steve tore his eyes away from the newspaper and cupped his face in his hands. His eyes felt puffy, but he didn't care. A tear rolled down his cheek as he thought about Bucky, and what would have happened if he had lost Natasha too. He looked at his old-fashioned watch; 810pm, he read. He suddenly thought, "Why don't I go to a bar? I'll just have a few drinks there and come back home." (yes, he can drink, he just cannot get drunk)He cleaned himself up and put on decent clothes, and sneaked out. Little did he know what would happen.

He took a few shots, but the alcohol felt so good, it made him forget Bucky and all his problems for a while. He was extremely upset when he realised he had hit his limit of alcohol. Where else could he get the feeling alcohol gave him...?
