Note: Kakashi and Karin's first child is a boy with silver hair and crimson red eyes named as obito. He's 4 years old.
Warm summer days were Obito's favorite. Mostly because it meant his father would be home, and his mother would be home early because Kakashi works as the rokadaime and his mother works as a medical kunoichi in konohagukure hospital.
Obito wandered around the house and rummaged through the bookshelves for something to read. Despite the tender age of four, he had already learned how to read, and his mother and Sakura Sensei spoiled him with reading materials. But there was one bookshelf in his parents' room that he wasn't allowed to read from.
Being the good little boy he was, he never dared to disobey his parents. However, there was a certain book his father always reads, and a snippet of a conversation that he had overheard that picked his interest.
"Karin!! What do you say, can we try these out?" Kakashi waggled his silver brows at his wife.
"What are you talking about now?" Karin sighed. Although she seemed annoyed, she sat down next to her husband and grabbed the Orange book. As she continued to read, her face turned a deeper shade of red. "You Baka!! You're going to send another baby our way so soon!"
Kakashi laughed and kissed her cheek. "That's the point, ya know? Isn't it about time to give obito a sibling? I want a girl this time!"
His wife scowled and stormed out of the room, muttering about the pains of childbirth.
It didn't take long for obito to find the orange book. It was on the third level of the shelf. He dragged a chair over and climbed on it carefully.
He pulled the book out and stared at the "So this book can make babies," he whispered to himself in wide-eyed wonder. He stared at the image of a man chasing a woman, who looked like she was enjoying herself. Obito flipped the book over and saw a big circle with a slanted slash through it. "It looks like a stop sign," he mused to himself, but shrugged one shoulder. "There are no roads here, so this is fine."
The toddler climbed down the chair, pulled himself up to his parents' bed, and made himself comfortable in the middle. He opened the book and started to read out loud, just like how his Sensie Sakura taught him to.
Kakashi finished a good workout in his backyard, and was now ready to take a shower. He padded upstairs to the master bedroom. Faintly, he could hear his son's voice. He smirked, and thought his son must have just been reading again.
"That nerd," Kakashi muttered to himself, with a soft smile on his lips. "He is a mixture of us in studies." But the next things Kakashi hears sends him into utter shock.
"A-a-a-h, Ri-yu-ji-kun. That. Feels so nice. Right there!" Obito pronounced each syllable. He laughed and said, "Riyuji-kun must be so nice to make Yuki-san feel better. But how is that this will help make babies?" The sound of ruffling pages filled the air, as the little boy hummed to himself.
Make babies? Riyuji and Yuki? Kakashi knew those names. Those were the characters in Icha Icha. Images of his wife threatening to kill him filled his mind, as she would think that he was the one who let their son ruin his innocence. The copy ninja burst into the room and squeaked when he saw that orange book sitting on his lap.
"Ah! Dad!" Obito proudly held the book up. "Look! I'm trying to find out how to make babies, so I can have a baby sister!"
Kakashi yelled and grabbed the book out of his hands. "Obito!!" he exclaimed. "This-this isn't something you should be reading. It's bad for you!"
The little boy's bright brows furrowed together as he stared at his father in utter confusion. "But dad, why would it be bad? You and Mom read it, and you and Mom aren't bad, right?"
