Satwik held Sarayu's hand which was trembling. Sarayu looked at the entrance hopefully and when she couldn't find anyone she got tears in her eyes...
She thought her world is gonna end
Sarayu closed her eyes when tears are about to escape and at the same time she heard a voice
" Stop. " Came the voice of Avyansh
Youngsters got relived seeing him. Sarayu who was controlling her tears till now shed tears. She immediately withdrawn her hand from Satwik's hand.
" Thank God " she murmured
" Avyansh, what are you doing here?? " Jagadish asked getting angry
Satwik looked at them in confusion because as far as he know they are family friends then why Jagadish is getting angry seeing Avyansh??
" And dad what are you doing? " Avyansh questioned back
" What do you mean?? " Jagadish asked
" What's happening here dad?? " Avyansh asked sternly
" Can't you see. It's Sarayu's engagement" Jagadish said
" How can you even think of getting Sarayu married to someone else dad?? " Avyansh asked
" Why can't I?? She is my daughter. And I have all rights to think about her marriage. Who are you to talk about all these?? " Jagdish said in anger
" Who am I??" Avyansh chuckled sarcastically and looked at Sarayu who was holding back her tears
" Iam the one who held Sarayu for the first time. Iam the one from whom dadu took a promise to protect Sarayu for ever. Iam the one with whom Sarayu's marriage got fixed when she was born. Iam the one who loves her the most and Iam the whom Sarayu loves the most" Avyansh said looking at Sarayu
Satwik and his parents stood there in shock
" You are forgetting something. You are the one who hurt her. You are the one who gave her the tears and you are the one who broke her heart. " Jagadish said in anger
Avyansh got silent hearing him because he knew Jagadish is right
" Forgot?? Then what rights do you have, to question me about Sarayu's marriage? " Jagadish asked
" Iam the only one who has all rights to question about her marriage. Iam her..." Before Avyansh could complete his sentence they heard a voice
" Jagadish!!! " Hemanth shouted as soon as he entered the hall
" Chachu/Papa/uncle/dad " came everyone's voice in shock except for one and that is Sarayu.
She finally took a breath of relief seeing Hemanth along with Vardan
" Hemanth? " Jagadish uttered in shock
" What's going on here?? " Hemanth asked sternly
Jagadish looked here and there and then at Hemanth
" My daughter Sarayu's engagement." Jagadish said
" What?? What did you say?? Your daughter?? Don't forget that she is my daughter too and top of that my daughter-in-law " Hemanth said
