Nobody's POV:

2 months later

Y/N and Ran's relationship continued to grow more and more. Almost seeing each other every single day, at this point Ran was basically funding her life against her own will of course.

Y/N had tried to get a job but just as he did the first day they spent together, he bought out the businesses and threatened to buy the whole entire Japan if she didn't stop applying for jobs. They rarely ever fought and for the most part he kept Y/N out of his criminal affairs, everything was blissful between them. The mind blowing sex, the connection they shared, neither of them would have known how much they would impact each other's lives.

Y/N read the text from Ran, he didn't like Y/N using public transportation so he bought her a car. Despite asking for something old and used, Ran had bought her a Mercedes Benz SUV although she barely got the chance to use it since he always insisted on picking her up. Y/N got dressed up to head over to the penthouse and parked her car in the private garage. Ran had made sure that she had access to the garage and all floors all except the underground level that was strictly exclusive for Bonten members but she had no clue it even existed. That was one secret he kept from Y/N, one secret that he convinced himself was beneficial for her safety and for himself.

"Ran?" She called out but got no response she walked into the living room and to her surprise there were beautiful red rose petals on the floor making a trail. Ran had decorated his penthouse with candles and rose petals leading out to the balcony. He always went above and beyond for Y/N sometimes it came off at cheesy to her but she loved it anyways, it made her feel like she was in an old romance movie. She followed the trail out to the balcony to see Ran standing there next to a candlelit dinner. He was wearing a blue grey suit and had his hair neatly styled. He looked almost the same as he did the first night they had seen each other. She could feel her heart flutter in her chest at the sight of the tall handsome man.

"Hello gorgeous" he cooed Y/N was in awe at the balcony that was transformed "what's all this? Is there something special going on?" She asked with a beaming smile. The patio was decorated with beautiful flowers and dainty lights, Ran pulled out her chair for her to have a seat and he sat back down in his seat. "Y/N" he said awkwardly clearing his voice, "I've only known you for two months now but the moment I saw you I felt an immediate attraction to you. We both know I'm somebody who hates waiting, I know I rush into things and it may have overwhelmed you at first, but for you I took my time, I've always said that I was going to be the one to protect you, provide for you, and care for you and god my hands are sweating" he said breaking his speech, Y/N chuckled at his out of character sentence and he took a deep breath to regain his confidence.

"I guess what I'm trying to say is I really do love you and I want you to officially be my girlfriend" Y/N smiled at his sweet gesture "of course Ran" she said Ran let out a sigh of relief "I thought you were going to say that you weren't ready" he admitted Y/N laughed "I've been ready for about a month now" she said Ran frowned "I should of asked you a month earlier" he jokingly said earning a light smack against his chest from Y/N.

The two of them enjoyed their dinner together laughing at their memories of their first encounter, "you've really changed my life" Ran said Y/N smiled "and you've changed mine too I guess that's what happens when you fall in lo-" she stopped herself from saying the L word. Ran's eyes widened "what did you say?" He teased "nothing" she said looking down and eating her meal avoiding eye contact. "Were you going to say the L word?" He teased again Y/N shook her head back and forth "You love me" he teased Y/N swallows her food. "Yeah? So what?" She said still avoiding his piercing lavender eyes, her face was hot from being flustered "I love you too" Ran smiled giving her hand a squeeze.
