AHHH! I have written another book which I wasn’t supposed to do but I did. I can’t help it guys; it’s an addiction for me. Okay my favourite song is ‘Good Time’ by Owl City featuring Carly Rae Jepsen and I thought I’d make a story about the whole song. It’s so weird I know but forgive me for it. CARLY’S LONELY IN THIS STORY TILL SHE MEETS A BOY CALLED ADAM YOUNG!! (OWL CITY!!!)  not set in like the 1990s, its set in modern times  cos she has a phone.

Rant over.

------------------------------------------------------------

The thought of leaving the house was daunting for Carly as she yanked her hair brush out of her hair, trying not to swear. She gritted her teeth and out it came, with several strands of her hair now on the floor. It had been day three since she hadn’t even seen the sunlight outside yet she just didn’t want to step outside and face everything.

The rumours and her boyfriend

It was too much for Carly to bear as she looked at herself in the mirror. Her beautiful face had now been destroyed by her boyfriend Kale exactly three days now. Her rose cheeks were now filled with red marks with bruises near her eyes making it look so obvious to someone. Carly had been glad that her own mother had not been around to see how horrid her face was looking. Carefully applying her foundation on, Carly reminisced about the times she and Kale were together and happy.

**Flashback**

A young sixteen year old Carly Rae Jepsen is standing outside the park, checking the time constantly as she paces two steps each time. Kale, her boyfriend had been late again for the fifth time this week and like always, Carly would forgive him though as he’d always plead her with the puppy dog look. After not checking the time, she stopped and walked into the park where someone placed their hands on her hips, making her spine tingle.

“Hey baby,” the voice spoke huskily as Carly smiled at the sound of the voice. She knew that Kale would turn up eventually and she turned around, kissing him with all her might. He kissed her back hungrily as the rain pelted down on them. Carly pulled away and suggested something to Kale.

“Kale,” she began with a smirk. “Let’s dance in the rain,” she pleaded with her eyes widening. Kale grinned and took her hand, following her to the wettest area of the park.

Dancing to The Time of Our Lives, Carly grinned continuously as Kale pulled her in closer, kissing her gently. With the rain still flooding the area, they danced once more.

Carly knew that Kale would never betray her…

“Carly?”

The sound echoed as Carly felt a bucket of water being thrown on her body. She prepared for the whole thing and opened her eyes, realising that she was having a bad dream. She felt several tears fall on her cheek as she finished dreaming about the day she and Kale had danced in the rain.

“Carly!” Carly’s best friend Shauna yelled as Carly sat up, feeling her head to see if she was alright. Shauna’s gut instinct told her that Carly was missing Kale again like always. It wasn’t the first time they had split up and neither was it going to be the last at the rate Kale would plead Carly. Shauna knew that Kale was only using Carly for his own benefit because Carly was the sweetest person ever and boosted people’s reputations.

“Damn…” Carly began. “Did I dream about Kale again?” She asked as Shauna laughed, hugging her best friend few times. She panicked. After all, the last time Carly had been like this, Carly had ran away and she knew that if no one stopped her, she would really attempt running away again.

“Carly, forget about him,” Shauna pleaded as Carly began skimming through pictures of herself and Kale on her phone which Kale had bought for her. She remembers the day as if it was special to her and it was because it was the day he confessed his love for her.

Everyone thought he was joking but he wasn’t. Kale Malcolm had really fallen for Carly Rae and nobody could believe him. After all, Kale had the reputation of a player and it meant that he’d date a girl every week and then dump her except Carly was different. She understood Kale’s meaning of being a player and changed his ways.

“I can’t,” Carly cried as she stopped on a picture of her and Kale on the beach. They looked so happy with Kale kissing Carly’s cheek but she knew that everything would go downhill after that. Taking the phone out of her hands, Shauna flickered through the photos and yelled as she showed Carly a picture of Kale and Kennedy kissing just three months ago.

Carly had gone over that day to see Kale and since he trusted her enough to give her his house key, she had walked into his house. It seemed awfully quite that day and as she placed her bag down and walked upstairs, she heard the noises of groaning and moaning coming from his bedroom.

Weird. She thought to herself as she peaked through the keyhole. Her eyes widened as the sight of Kale and Kennedy, her very good friend kissing pained her heart. Carly had the random thought of taking a picture of them just to blackmail Kale and she did. She ran downstairs and grabbed her bag before running out the house. Tears trickled down her face as she breathed heavily.

After that, Carly broke all ties with Kennedy but she never split up with Kale.

“Shauna, I loved him…” Carly’s voice trailed off as her voice rose higher, showing signs of emotion. Shauna nodded her head and patted Carly’s back.

“He’s a player, you know better.”

The words played several times in Carly’s mind as she tried to remember who had said that a while ago.

“He’s a player Carly, you should know better out of all people.”

The visual image of the person saying it showed up in her head as she remembered Kennedy warning her three days before she caught her and Kale kissing.

Kale was just another boy who doesn’t deserve me.

Carly thought as Shauna pulled her into a hug.
