chapter 14

♤♡Niklaus POV:

after i got to my destination i was surprised that mother wasn't there yet, but my siblings were.
we waited a while then esther had to make a dramatic entrance.
she then said "i'm so happy to see you all, my children, i missed you, i've missed you all"
then i replied "how poetic, now spare us the useless talk and spit out what you actually want us to hear"
kol replied to me "i'm not happy but i admit i'm on klaus's side"
"relax brothers" a familiar voice came out of the shadow from the door, the only lights provided were candles so it was a bit dark.
rebekah stood up in shock and said "fin"
"what a surprise, even when the mothefucker's dead he's still a pain in the ass" kol said
then fin came out of the shadows and said "but i'm not dead brother, i'm right here, in flesh and blood"
"i just can't believe that my older brother is alive, god i'm so happy" i said then added "it can't be real i'm definitely hallucinating let me see if you're actually here" and i threw a dagger on him, he fastly changed his position to not get his ass daggered.
"Niklaus!" mother said.
"okay he's definitely real" kol said.
elijah didn't say a thing tho.
"how" elijah said
"i did not die, brother, i was saved my mother from our beloved brother's cruelty" fin said
"i'm not cruel, you were the cruel dick who tried to kill my bestfriend when she was pregnant with my child. your niece, you pay for your actions"
"i'm glad she's now dead.. remind me did she die, or was she killed" he said
"ENOUGH" mother spat out
"what, truth hurts you so much?" rebekah said
"i gathered you here tonight to talk to you, not to watch you murder your brother again" esther said
"well i might actually kill him tonight, and maybe you too will be 6 feet underground" i said.
"why can't you just say what you want so we'll leave before niklaus snaps your neck mother" elijah said quietly, i don't know where does he get his patience from. 
"i want to have a dinner with my children, why is this so surprising to you" she said
"well because the last time we had a dinner like this you watched mikael burn nik's neck with a cigarette without saying a thing or even trying to stop him, he was 9 years old, you yelled at him and let mikael abuse him, then you locked him for a week, alone in darkness..." rebekah said emotionally. she's right, they did all that, and more.
"you know it pains me that you look at me with such disdain" mother said and then added "i wish you could see that my every action has been to protect you"
"you actually believe that don't you" i said then i added "i knew you're a liar, but now i see you're utterly delusional"
"what do you want mother" rebekah asked
"i want you to forgive me, my children" esther said
"you're seriously asking for forgiveness? are you drunk? are you in denial of what you've done? what damage you've caused??" kol said.
elijah added "you tried to kill katherine but failed, then you worked with father to kill her, you wanted to break niklaus and take away what he's built, you couldn't do that until you make him weak, by killing his bestfriend and his unborn child"
"i did this because i wanted to protect him, katherine was a liar, the baby isn't even his" esther spoke.
"ENOUGH" i yelled, "if you say another thing about katerina i'm going to pull out your tongue and feed it to my wolf" then i added "you think i'm dumb enough to believe her, you know me mother come on don't say you forgot how i think, i did a dna test to make sure katherine wasn't lying, and it turned out she was not, the baby was 100% my blood, and you mother, YOU killed them."
"you weren't ready to be a father, or to have a family,  you're cruel, niklaus you can't talk nicely, you can't even take care of yourself, how will you take care and protect a child?" she said
"i can't take care of myself?, i'm not ready to be a father and have a family??" i said then i yelled "WHO DO YOU THINK RAISED MY SIBLINGS HUH? MIKAEL? HE ABUSED THEM JUST LIKE ME, but i'm not like you, i fought for them, i didn't stay silent watching your husband abuse your children. so he's after me now." and i added "and the danger she needed protection from was her grandparents and uncle, you're the bad guys not me"
"i never wanted you to be like this, to become the man you are, but still look at you, you're a beast, a cruel monster"
"no, no you ruined me, you left me to suffer at the hands of a father who valued only strength" i said
"no, i kept you from becoming worse than him" mother said
"NO YOU LIED TO ME, TO HIDE YOUR OWN TRANSGRESSION BECAUSE OF YOUR OWN FEAR." then i kicked the table and stood up and yelled again "MY WHOLE LIFE, I SOUGHT THE APROVAL I WAS DENIED BY THE MAN I THOUGHT MY FATHER" she looked down and i yelled "LOOK AT ME" and she did "you rant, and you rage about the monster i have become, but you mother, you are the author of everything i am" she froze at my words, she didn't know what to say, fin's phone call broke the tensioned silence
"hello"
"fin, they're with me, that bastard's daughter turned out to be alive, and raven too is here, without you and your mother i wouldn't have known he's got a lover"
"okay father, i'll let him know he' losing this war" fin said, what does that mean.
"so brother, i admire your taste in women, and i admit, i'm a bit jealous, you see you're always having super hot women wrapped around your finger" fin said after hunging up.
"you have five seconds to explain yourself" i threatened
"your daughter and girlfriend are with us, they'll be dead in no time, and actually they're watching us right now"
fin said.
"good, mikael has done his part, and i've done mine too" esther said
"who on earth had told you that you're a mother, you don't deserve that title,  you'll never be our mother, i will never accept that the woman who gave me birth is you, i'm ashamed of you" rebekah said
i took my dagger out of my pocket, and i threw it on fin, he's started bleeding as soon as the dagger hit his neck, "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST DO" esther yelled.
i came closer to fin, laughing as he bleeds and cries. and i said "you escaped my grip once, but you're not always lucky, say hi to satan for me will you, and tell him he won't be honoured by my presence in hell yet, i'm not dying tonight nor will azalea and raven"
"nik, leave him let's go" rebekah said
"mother, i mean, bitch you're not dying like this, you're going to suffer" i said
then i added "kol, and elijah, will you take her to my underworld dungeon, make sure she doesn't escape or you'll face consequences"
"oh i will have fun with her, let's go brother" kol said
they took her and they took fin's body too.
then me and rebekah headed to where mikael is hiding, kol and elijah will follow us too, with backup.

on our way i was thinking, what have i done, i'm the reason raven is suffering more, i shouldn't have let her in. i shouldn't have fallen for her, my love is killing her, literally, how can i be so selfish. if they do anything to her, i'll never forgive myself.
