The day started out as any other.

Thor had taken up the responsiblity of babysitting for a few hours and decided to train his nephew.

They sparred and Petyr curiously asked questions of Thor's past missions.

Somehow the topic of "get help" came up and Petyr laughed like a maniac at the consept. He then had his uncle throw him across the room, screaming "weeeeeee!!!" as he landed on a soft matress.

All in all an avarage day.

But we all know Pete doesn't get normal days.

He just doesn't. This entire book explores that fact...

When Gamora called Pete he didn't think much of it as he and the gaurdains often exchanged messages or he sent them memes. What he hadn't expected was...

Call

G: My father. He's comming for the stones. He located ALL of them. He'll be on earth for a few of them in seven hours. You said you knew heroes. Call them! Get them to help. Meet us on Earth.

P: Wait. Who is comming and for what stones?

G: my adopted father, Thanos who wants the infinty stones.

Pete knew the name Thanos. He knew this was the idiot that hurt his Dad. And he wasn't about to let him hurt other people too.

P: ms Gamora. I can tell you the location of all of the stones apart from the soul stone...

G: no! Don't do that kid. If anyone knows the location of all...
Wait. No that's actually perfect. Meet us on earth.

P: do I bring the Tesseract and Aether?

G: you have two of the infinty stones????

P: yeah. Well technically I have the Aether and Dad the Tesseract.

G: ok kid. Bring all the stones that you have nearby along. And invite as many heroes as you can, Thanos has a massive army.

P: as you wish ms Gamora. Meet us at avengers tower so xxx coordinates. Say Peter Parker sent you.

G: ok.

"Family!" Petyr screamed as he ran to the common room causing his aunt, uncle and parents to turn to face him.

"What's the matter?" Loki asked and Petyr paused for a second in order to regain his breath before starting to ramble.

"We need to help as Thanos is comming to try and take all the stones in order to kill off half the population in the universe."

Carol, Thor and Hela stared at the child totally lost.

But Loki. Loki was hyperventilating. "Thanos is comming?" He repeated under his breath until the world around him essentially became lost as he could no longer hear or see anything.

Carol grew worried so she asked Thor and Hela to take Petyr to another room to explain to them what he is talking about while she calmed down Loki.

Carol's pov
I have no idea what spooked Loki to this extent but it can't be anything good.

Loki?

He doesn't seem to hear me so I go to sit next to him and I whisper into his ear.

Lo. Hey can you hear me?

He looks at me for a second before answering by nodding his head.

Ok good try to copy my breathing. Deep breath in, deep breath out.

He mimics me and it seems to calm him down a little.

Is it ok if I touch you?

Loki nods so I open my arms allowing him to fall into them.

A few days ago he acted like my parent when I was sick. At the very least I can do the same when he needs help.

After a minute Loki is completly back to his senses and he blushes as he notices that he was laying in my arms.

Are we sure he doesn't get the blushing habit from you?

Loki rolls his eyes just as Pete comes running into the room.

"Mom, Dad! Auntie Hela, uncle Thor and ms Brunnhilde already left for the tower with Fenris but we need to go help the others," Pete explains and I tilt my head.

"No. Absolutely not. You will go no where near Thanos, Petyr. That man wants to kill. I will not let you put yourself in danger by fighting him," Loki says in a tone that leaves Pete with no room to argue.

He however looks at his Dad and a look of realization passes over him so he moves to sit on Loki's lap, wrapping his arms around his dad.

"I love you Dad. And I get it. You want to protect me from the person that hurt you. I will always appreciate you protecting me. I really respect you for multiple reasons and your protection is one of them so thank you. That said however..."

"I'm going to disobey that instruction because if Thanos wins I may loose you and Mom and all the people I care for and I won't let that happen," Peter explains as he gives Loki who is staring at him in total disbelief a hug, then does the same with me before opening a portal to who knows where.

"Meet me at the tower in twenty minutes, love you," is the last I hear from him.

Lo? What? Who is Thanos?

"He is a torturer. He used the mind stone on me to send me to attack Midgard. He hurts everyone and he wants to commit genocide, half of the population to be exact. He wants to use all the infinty stones to do just that. He is strong and dangerous and Petyr shouldn't be anywhere near him," Loki explains and I smile softly.

Lo. You're scared of him. And that's ok, I don't doubt he hurt you in more ways than one. But don't let your fear stop your fighting abilities.

If there is one thing Pete inherited from our entire family is his inability to stop doing something that he has set his mind too.

And he wants to help here...

So the least we can do is, help him and see how it goes with his disobedience towards your order, maybe scold him at the tower or something.

"But if he gets hurt," Loki says and I smile evilly.

I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of whoever hurts him what with how protective Pete's family and friends are.

"But more then hurt..." Loki asks worriedly and I place my hand over his mouth.

Not going to happen.

Loki seems to regain his confidence as he gets up and says, "Ok let's go help our barn!"
